can I build a ship foundation without ship pls?

so far it looks like refund.. game is boring and seems broken shark is absolutely annoying he destroyed my ship and there is not enough food dunno how to get water and bars are going down too fast even on easy mode. anyway. if I lose ship is it over? I cant build a new one? cuz Im trying to build foundation with hammer but its not working. thx for answer

If you lose your ship, you have to restart to get another one.

I don't care about this game, but I must say that all of your complaints are easily dealt with. Build a spear as soon as you can to fight off the shark. Food comes from fishing and water comes from cooking ocean water. The TAB menu is your friend. Also, build a research station to gain more abilities. The nets are a great upgrade to start with. Vegetables become available from getting barrels and can be planted to get more, making them an easier source of food than fishing.

food is fishing, on islands and in barrels.. fighting the shark all time repair the damage it made and get water from ocean and burn it. :) the game is easy when you first get into it.. :) also if you make a bed you respawn on the ship so you never lose it just the stuff you have on you if you fall over the ship or what ever kill's you..

So you can build all sorts of stuff for the raft, even the pieces that it was originally made of... but for some obscure reason you're not able to create a new one?

its something like building a FOUNDATION foundation block in space engineers to start building a ship.. there is no possibiliy to start a new raft - to put the first block. so If you lose the ship or the super annoying shark eats last block you have to restart. but anyway there is nothing to do in the game except building your ship and figting overtriggered annoying hunger,thirst and shark. I love survival games so obviously I have nothing against these mechanics. but in this game they serve as the main game mechanic to slow you down as much as possible until you relise that once youve built the ship there is zero game content
