You could read the FAQ you know: :wizorbwink:

"How many players can play multiplayer simultaneously"
The game will be able to host for infinite numbers of players but of course the host computer is the limitation. We have tried with 7-8 people so far. There will also be a balance problem when playing way too many people but it should be doable.

Little rude for a mod, but okay.

Very rude and also a lazy jerk. Least he could do is link the FAQ. People should not support indie companies that use mods like this. It's a recipe for disaster. I'll be taking a screen shot of this and using it as a fore warning to anyone who wants to support a company like this.

Dear glob, reading the FAQ stickied at the top of the forum is almost ALWAYS step 1 before posting asinine questions in every forum ever since the dawn of the internet. If you're that offended over getting a curt answer for being too lazy to read, then I don't see how anyone else is going to ever take you seriously.

Maybe because you don't work in customer service nor ever moderated a community. Companies like this shouldn't act this way. They should always be courteous to their customers and help them not talk down to them. It's like the saying goes "the customer is always right" In this case I can see his ignorance being an issue, but the moderator should not treat it with such frustration. That's what kids do @dournsoul and why kids don't moderate forums.

This guy is not being "forced" to moderate. He either volunteered or is being paid for his services. That being said he knows what he signed up for. If he can't take the time to be courteous and supporting to the community then he should NOT be a moderator. There is plenty of other qualified individuals who can better communicate with their community.

Really though, how is recommending doing a basic task like reading the FAQ and also posting the answer to the question being rude or discourteous? Also, customers are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ idiots and are wrong often, but a lot of them have the entitlement mentality where they feel the need to be treated as royalty 24/7. I've worked more than enough retail, IT, customer service, and moderation to know first hand, thanks xP

Wow. Seriously? You're joking right? That response seriously has me cracking up right now.

I've been a member of Steam for over 14 years, that should say something about my age.

Mod was rude without (i'm sure) wanting to be. That icon who blinks at the end of the phrase says something, so i think it was just a bit mistake when expressing himself/herself.

But you are rude on purpose, and there's no need for that. OP hasn't been bad-mannered in his post, and mods are here because this kind of things, i see no problem. What you show seem to be resentment because your work. I understand you, i have worked also with customer service and sometimes it's very frustrating, but OP don't deserve that, we don't know him at all and just for a valid question you cannot judge him and decide it's just an "idiot customer".

Remember that you are also a customer here...like all of us, so it's better to not generalize.

I never called the OP an idiot customer, so please do not insinuate that I did. In fact the OP never even responded after making the post. Random other people just decided that the mod's response was somehow rude, and I voiced my disagreement as such. I'm just not seeing how it was rude in the slightest as it was an objective and curt response to a simple question which is already answered in the FAQ, and nothing more.

Ok, the OP has his answer and topic has veered way off course. Locking it up.
