Reparing items?

I found I can repair my raft from the annoying shark with the hammer but is there a way to repair my grappling hook and fishing rod? Or do I just use it and make a new one when it breaks? Kind of fun game so far! When you play co-op, do you both play on the same raft?

you both play on same raft and no, afaik you can´t repair tools :(

How about be able to repair EVERY tool available? Like let's use 1/3rd of the originally required materials for example.
