I mean, this game will be dead in the water without it. Pun intended. There is no goal that takes any length of time to reach and there isn't a whole lot of content. I know it's early, and they still have stuff to do just think it should be a priority.
It's like playing minecraft without mods. Sure you can do it, but it's ♥♥♥♥ and it takes a day to do everything. This is no different.

There is no goal at the moment, it is Early Access more content is coming. You don't know what they have planned to be added.

Pretty sure there wasn't much in the line of dedicated mod support during alpha testing of Minecraft. Could be wrong...

This game is really early in development. There isn't much in the game to actually mod just yet. And to give mod support would mean the Dev team not only knows how to structure things, but can structure the code in away to allow things to be inserted in a modular fashion. Most of us don't know if they are that far into that kind of detail yet. (and I highly doubt they are)

When it is in late alpha or early beta, then dedicated mod support will make sense to implement, since they'd have things figured out and standardized by that point.

And I know how important mod support can be. I played the original Half Life game, and the flood of mods that followed; even a free HL Mod called Counter Strike, when it was new, simpler, fun, and wasn't overly popular.

Totally on board with everythign you said, was just asking if it was in the pipeline yet. I think the game is great, just wanna know what to expect. I also didn't realize it wasn't even in beta yet, I didn't read it. Just saw the game and thought it was an awesome idea, still do. I will happily wait. =D Cheers

i would perfer the game to be fully done first befor any mod suport so that way it would be easier for moders (they wont have to worry about a update breaking their mod and having to fix it witch would make some people stop playing as well as they wait for their mod to be updated)

I died under water. And does not show the button to give up that would rejoice. What to do? I'm almost through the game now

it's like that old saying, 'every time someone asks for mod support in an EA game, a developer rolls his eyes'

Game already has tons of mods. It will need mod support from the Dev's at some point.
