Not that I know of, but I'm sure it will be bragged about when the ability gets added.
I'm just going to hold onto any dead batteries just in case, since I don't use them than heavily, and don't take up that much space compared to other items.

I'd find it more balanced and fitting if solar panels were found in certain locations, as opposed to magicing them up out of raw materials Gilligan's island style.

Next update will include Battery Charger. From the looks of it, it seems to be biofuel powered.
