How many hours worth of content does this game have?
I'm curious. This game is endless, I know. But how much (estimated) content can we expect right now? And how much content do the devs estimate for the final version?

Will be up to player to decide when they have reached end game as it is open and there is no storyline to follow (as far as I know)

Not many if you don't like building. As many as you want if you like building.

Just watch a few lets plays and dicide for yourself.
From what I have seen, it's not worth it, the world felt empty devoid of life.
So if it was me don't buy it, but who knows maybe you will like it. suggest to watch a few vids first.

There is a goal to reach, there is a thing you reach that gives some lore and information on the world.

Won't spoil it.

Takes about 5-6 hours to reach that point if you are diligent in researching and building.

i would say for a "average" gamer, that wan'ts to have fun,, (no rushing) it would take around 10-20 hours to unlock everything and build the end game stuf (wil not spoil it) if you play alone, and if you can have some early islands cleared , clearing a island wil give you hughe boost in your items/food

you can replay and keep playing (after the end) but thats about it

it took me 20 hours to go to the point where it "ends" for now. but i didnt rush it and crafted everything that exists. my raft is also kinda big (but ugly :D) i could stop playing now if my goal was to finish a survival game (?!?!) but the idea of travelling to other radio towers to maybe find Utopia and making my raft beautiful, or building a massive base together with friends could easily double the 20 hours up.

6hrs playing solo. A further hour from what I recall setting up my raft to reach the 'ending'.

if your into just getting all the tech and getting to a point where you can call it done: 10 hours
if you wanna then make a new save and make your perfect boat 20-30 hours
if you then wanna try making cooler boats (unkown)

all in all a nice little game but it will get stale faster than some others but i think its a really fun experience regardless of replayability and the devs surprised me with the content update yesterday i know it was only a ladder but its took the other game im playing 3 months to add a fkin hat (vermintide) and its still not added. so all in all i see good things from this game

from 4 to 6 hours to finish the Uthopia content but, you can play after reach it normally and new big constructions are add to the sea, and you need your radar to find them and loot them

I'd say 20 hours of fun which includes doing a few restarts
