its a blatant rift off that openly tries to trick, albeit really stupid people, into buying what they think is another game...
Just don't play that crap game and you're all good.
Also I will bet Raft will be playable on Steam Deck way before Switch.
What's Switch Again? ;)
The developers plan to complete Raft on Windows first before considering supporting other platforms whether it's Mac, Linux or Consoles.

the "survive on raft" game is also now on Nintendo switch, for a whopping $25. i don't even know how to report an illegal game to Nintendo. I could have sworn they were legal sticklers, but apparently not.
The world is full of clones of other games and there are a lot of examples where clones improve on the original concept. Clones might appear that are almost exactly the same but have more in one area that attracts one crowd or another one in a different area that attracts another crowd. That's the industry!
I'm guessing it might seriously upset the devs, so discussing it with them needs to be approached delicately. The only good news is that it had exactly zero players, :-) Anyway, up to them how they handle it. I know EA sued the crap out of anyone for years who even thought about copying TheSims. Got to protect your intellectual property...
The most blatant clone of Raft even made their forum for game owners only so they couldn't be called out on their crap. You'll notice all their other listed games are blatant ripoffs as well, also with closed forums.
Valve of course could care less as long as they can't be held legally responsible, profit is all that matters to them.
Stranded Deep, your base is built on an island or I guess from the discussions, sounds like you set up a mini base on each island you visit. Their "raft" is just a very basic and ugly canoe, can't do any building or live on it.
So the only thing those two have in common is that they're both survival games set in tropical area. Which can be said about many survival games.
The game I saw the other day on that steamb website, otoh, was a straight up pixel-for-pixel copy with a different name. <<< HAHAHAHA maybe the people complaining about how "slow" our devs are, should go buy that one. :D :D :D

Did some googling regarding your comment that Raft was a clone of Stranded Deep and yes it was released first in 2015 (still in early access btw) while Raft was started in 2016.
