Raft

Accidently deleted world
So I found the save folder and due to an incident before I decided to copy my world just in case. There were two worlds in my list. In one I continued to build, in the other I didn't. Then I decided to delete the old version. But I accidently deleted the new one. Ingame. Not in the LocalLow folder. It's gone.

Is there any way to recover it? It's not in the bin. It's a creative world with a raft town and today's whole progress of 4 hours is gone. I need it back.

Hope someone has a clue :(

You could check two things:

https://store.steampowered.com/account/remotestorage

That's where you can check and download files from your steam cloud storage. Unfortunately, if you deleted the save from within the game AND exited the game (that's when cloud synch usually happens), the files there are probably gone already.

Second place is remote cache found on your computer here:

Steam\userdata\SteamID\AppID\remote

Raft's AppID is 648800 according to SteamDP:

https://steamdb.info/app/648800/

Unfortunately Steam does not do these backups reliably as there is no remote folder at all for me on raft's folder and thus no save backups. Number of other games have them but not raft so I've no idea how steam decides to make these backups.

Thanks, it's too late now though. I decided to rebuild the damage from my memory and continued from there.
I've downloaded the backup of the world, but it hasn't appeared on the world list. So what do I do once I've downloaded the world files?

You put them in
C:\Users\%username%\AppData\LocalLow\Redbeet Interactive\Raft\User\User_[numbers]\World\

You may need to clean the saves name as it'll contain the whole file path when you download it.

I have found my deleted files like you said, and saved it in the folder that you said, and changed the file name, but when I try to load the world, the folder shows but it says it's empty. It doesn't show the RGD file
