PLEASE Fix the shark and its eating habits!

I know your guys are busy perfecting your game, and i love all the updates and new features. I just have one issue. The shark continues to be a nuisance. Most of the time when he attacks its always on a foundation 3 in from the edge of my raft, i have a large raft. and it can be hard to always get to him before he breaks stuff. the problem is when he attacks in the center and when something important is on it. He's taken some crop plots, water purifier and other things. most of the time its easy to replace. but this time he attacked the animal pen i had set up. He bite a foundation with a grass block on it. I'm currently on an island by the time i return all my animals had jumped into the hole and died. Worst part game saved as i discovered it so i cant reload a prev save. Getting new animals is a long process expesially when you had rare ones.
IS it possible to get a fix for the shark attacking other boat pieces that are on the inside of the raft.

thats alot of materials and i was prioritizing my catch nets cause he likes those the most. the catch nets are 3 in from the edge and my pen was 5 in. Shark shouldn't be able to do that

LOL yeah that is annoying how the shark can attack the middle blocks or any of the blocks that are a layer before the outside blocks.. should only be able to bite the outside ones first

Put your important stuff on the second floor

Get your boat strengthened by the foundation reinforcements listed lastly on the first row of your hammer. By the time you protect your ship by the reinforcements, shark would no longer eat the parts you've reinforced and eat the foundations you've not yet reinforced.

your pillars and stairs could have gone if you don't reinforce them and you will see your second floor floating above your raft due to the lack of gravity design on wooden floor and tilted floor.

For a pillar to be destroyed the shark would have to break all 4 touching tiles of foundation.. it's pretty safe if you at least check your foundation tiles every several hours for damage..

Armour you most important foundation mate , all other not armoured foundation is shark bait.

I got killed by a shark and he one hit me right before i enter my raft at the night dive without any airdamage and that is not fair and as you said " Worst part is auto game saved " and that is something the devs need to work on when we have days survived info as " how do we work around it when the game bug killing us " on days survived.
