JP lore is never to be confused with logical, or truth. In other movies, the TRex was fast, but somehow, in JW, Claire manages to outrun one for a few blocks? Seriously?

so don't expect things to be how you expect, unless you just expect the unexpected.

wasnt she wearing heels also ?

Yea she was

Also, they outran a spino in an open field. Gymnastic kicked a fully grown raptor and sent it flying. So there are many things that arent realistic.

The JW3 brought up many debates regarding how a Trex would never lose a fight against a Spino. I remember there were alot of pissed off people talking about that.

for wy that happend, she wanted to be bad ass and running in heals :) and she didd, she ran in heals all over the jungel just fyi, so this was here idea to a degree :)
My jp/w knowledge is lacking, as I've only watched the first jp, but I do remember that both the raptors and trex were played as "villains" throughout the movie. Ultimately facing down each other at the end with the raptors technically being the last-minute savers, despite the tension building moments they had just prior to that of chasing the kids around inside the facility.

It's been decades since I last watched the movie though. Should probably sit down and re-watch it. Somehow 2, 3, and world just didn't hook me.

My suggestion, watch 1, 2 and JW. Treat the third like superman 2, pretend like it never existed.
What you don't seem to understand is that they are trying to sell this game to as many buyers as possible, not to mention trying to appese both the Licence holders, the investers and most importantly, THE FANS . Not to mention that they want to respect the lore of the Jurassic Universe. They even said it in the Making the T-Rex video.

Look I want the Spino and Giga to be sized up as well as much as you but I can see why they made the Rex bigger then both of them. They truly care for the franchice and want to honor it as much as possible. They don't want to have a backlash from the fans just like what happend with JPIII with the infamous T. Rex vs Spino battle.

And just by people playing this game it will cause players to start to wander about dinosaurs like the Giganotosaurs, the Pentaceratops or the Tsintosaurus. Because of this games and the movies more people will learn more about dinosaurs then they have before, no matter how inacurate the dinosaurs are in the movies (ahmm, Ankylosaurus). Hell, if it wasn't for this game I wouldn't have known about the Gigantspinosaurus, the Huayangosaurus, and the Metriacanthosaurus.

But bottom line is this, if its not really effecting gameplay is it really that much of a bother? For me it's not as well as many other players. I mean they had ONE YEAR to make this game and they don't have a studio that is as big as the likes of EA or Ubisoft, so what they managed to make is no sort of an achievement. And don't forget that there is a thing called UPDATES that they could address these issues later on.

So just be glad we where able to get another JPOG type game after being without one for so long, because I'm very grateful of it even with the small issues in the game, and so should you.
Again, gimping bigger dinosaurs doesn't make the T-Rex cooler. It just makes the gimped dinosaurs less cool. And the T-Rex has not been the star dinosaur since Lost World. In III, it was the Spinosaurus. In World, it was the I-Rex. In Fallen Kingdom, it is the Indoraptor. The T-Rex has been religated to cameo status because it is popular, but the studio knows they need newer and badder dinos to keep people coming back for more.

Check the underline. I would like to remind you the starter carnivore can outright kill a trex like it doesn't give af.
to put it to a close, its not that mutch of a diffrence that it woude make a big deal, t rex V spino

lol, exactly................ a cameo THAT ALWAYS SEEMS TO SAVE THE DAY AKA " HERO "

When he makes those cameos he does his trademark howl and the crowd goes wilddddddd, tyhen he does something amazing to all those newer stronger faster dinos and kills them in spectacualr fashion even though hes 1000 years old and has been in an enclosure with no excercise forever.

then has EVERY chance to kill/eat the human stars of the movie but peacefully walks away seemingly back to his room to wait to save the day yet agai in the future.

The studeio also knows whos the peanut butter on ther PB & J sammich, the T REX so thye always come back to him in a spectacular fashion that makes no sense whatsoever.

Its called marketing to get that 1 TREX howling shot in all the trailers/promo material cuz that puts butts in the seats of theatres.

Because the T REX IS THE STAR and the star of the movies HAS to be the biggest baddest dino in the movie and game.

Why is that so hard for you to understand ???

Universal made this decision and SEVERAL ppl have explained it to you !!!
But again the biggest baddest star was killed by a spino. The rex isnt the star in JW the star is really just ONE rex and thats the first rex that escaped from the first movie.

Its a " REX " thats all that matters. 1 rex doing 1 outstanding thing is all the need, a " cameo " as some1 else put it.

that howl is iconic and does magical things to movie audiences, thats the whole point. People love to see something they remember and were excited about again.

I dont make the movies or decisions, i know marketing and public appeal and how advertising/visuals sell tickets.

consistent. Again, you guys keep talking about consistency like it matters to this franchise. Trex not being able to see was a HUGE part of the plot of the first film. They only said it 50 million times. 2nd one, it gets 1 line, "you must have heard XXX say that." But we saw it work, that the trex was right there. We saw it multiple times.

So consistency does not matter to the lore of this franchise. Very few things have been consistent, except every film has had a cool trex, normally in some way or another saving the day, and raptors are cool. Nothing else was consistent.

fiy, i think that for the most part not all of the film, but for the most part there is the same t rex that comes and saves the day, i know for a fck its at least 2 times ;)

1st film - saving the day by fighting the raptors that were chasing our humans.
2nd film - it might never have saved the day, but it certainly wasn't the villain of the story here. It was the victim, on a million levels. No humans were good.
3rd film - saving the day fighting the spino
JW - letting claire outrun it while wearing heels, and fighting the indominus rex, then slinking away again, ignoring the people who have tortured it for years.
I would like to ask why a perfectly fine statement on my part was removed. Was it because of what was contained in my quote?

Negative, the first rex is a female that saves the day. She is also scared from the raptor fight in the end. She is not the same rex in lost world as she doesnt have the scar on her side. The rex in the city of lost world was a male.

The rex in part 3 was killed by the spino (which removes the whole "Super star and bigger badder" and it was not the same rex as in part 1.

JW Was the first rex from movie one that fought the Indominus.

She did use one of those flares to signify "feeding time". Perhaps the rex was accustomed to the docile and predictable nature of the feedings, which is why it didn't give chase at maximum speed, but rather just "oh I have to move a bit more to get my food this time".

it doesnt matterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, if what happend was 100% accurate true or even possible. Universal makes ANY TREX do amazing rhings and if 1 dies its for dramatic effect and only further entrenches ppl love for t rexs

Your hanging on the reality to tightly, its a story their telling and want you to be drawn to the trex for w/e reasons you choose. Just enjoy the show and dont wreck the experiance fpor yourself trying to figure it out.

Its like gaurdians of the galaxy, GROOT gave his life to save everyone else............ story telling to illict an emotional responce from fans of the franchise..............but what comes from his death.......... a new cute as hell baby groot............. so they take the audience on a roller coaster of emotions for the sake of telling a story.
