Restarting an Island.

So if I restart an Island after completing the game, because I've obviously learned a hell of a lot more since being there etc, would I lose all my missions and unlocks from that Island, or would I just be better off selling all the dinos and bulldozing the lot?

Well you can modify it bit by bit no need to destroy completely. I guess if you reset it you reset everything.

i would just bulldoze everything to be safe. I'm pretty certain you'll at least start over with no money, not sure about the unlocks.

Make sure to have at least 100 million Dollars, close the park, bulldoze everything, save, then start over. You should have enough money for a few hours, depending on what you build first and so on. Re-open the park when you're satisfied.

I just tested it and reset the second Island. It only resets the state of the Island like the account balance and the reputation with the 3 divisions as well as resets the buildings like they were when you first started the map.

It will NOT delete anything that you researched, any unlocks or any dinosaur genes you got via digging. The 3 main missions of the island can be repeated but whatever they unlock is still unlocked. Like the electrified heavy steel fence from the security mission on island 2 I still had access to although I reset the Island. It will look like this when you reset:

I don't think 100million will be needed. I've got around 30million and 60million on my first two Islands, so I would assume that will be sufficient, plus you get cash back for bulldozing the buildings and selling the dinosaurs.
