Main use is to have staff only areas so I can have all my utilities and centres away from guest attractions
I also added on this a staff only monorail stop, so you can completely segregate staff areas even down to not having pathways leading there. Both are highly desired
Others want roads though so I'm all for multiple options
When driving yourself that might be more fun, but that only works for small parks. With a huge park and multiple ranger stations uneven terrain massively slows the AI trying to repair the fence as their pathing isnt optimal to begin with, so when you want to have zero casualties and zero outbreaks .... streets would be more efficient. You yourself arent fast enough and unable to split yourself
I've not tried having isolated monorails connected to paths that don't connect back to the arrival point, can that be done? It's not the same as roads, but its a work around for what I want to do on the sandbox when I go there finally.
Oh wait, I got that wrong...
if you use monorail stations then you don't need pathing in between. As long as 1 monorail station connects to pathing that goes to the arrival point, then you can just have a completely seperate section of pathing that just goes to each other monorail station
IIRC last night it actually increased my parks transport rating on Tacano when I deleted the long section of path connecting top and bottom and just left the access as monorail only between the two furthest ends and the arrival point
Unfortunately, small Paddocks make gyrospheres almost useless, especial on the uneven Terrain. So it should be possible to build a gyrosphere-ride throughout several different Paddocks.
Just build the gyrospheres outside the paddocks if you have the space to. You don't need to build gyros inside a paddock and their dino visibility is a circle around the balls themselves much like the monorail
That way you can have a JP style vehicle tour, albeit with the wrong vehicles currently
