How To Get Five Stars On Isla Pena?

I've been stuck on Isla Pena for a week now, trying to get five stars. It says I have great everything on the star rating screen thingy, everything is highlighted in green except for the number of dinosaurs. I have three enclosures: one with 5 Stegosaurs, 3 Chasmosaurs and 2 Raptors, one with 4 Tsintaosaurs, 2 Chungkingosaurs, 2 Styracosaurs, 2 Archaeornithomimus, 1 Struthiomimus and 1 Gallimimus, and one with 2 Suchomimus. There's also a small one I made to try to increase the population without ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ off the chasmosaurs and styracosaurs because they hate anything else being in their enclosure that has 2 Polacanthus. So, what do I do?

It's probably not the variety of dinos so much as the rating of your dinos. Increase it with the best +rating mods you have researched.

Also if your dinos get into fights and win this also puts up their rating.

Oh and 26 dinos actually isn't that many, try to get it above 30.

Every single one of my dinosaurs is fully modified. If numbers are the case, I would need to give up my Chasmosaurs and Styracosaurs, which make up lots of the variety part...

I only have around 15 dinosaurs and still reached 5 stars easily. The problem is that you have too many herbivores with rather low rating (even when modified). I used mainly carnivores
1 rex
2 metria
4 deinonychus
3 ceratos
and the few herbivores you need for the mission.
Highly modified carnis are the way to go xD

Got 5 stars with 1 Rex, 5 Brachis/2 dilo's, 2 Metriacantowhatevers and like 7 random herbivores. It's all about their rating and not how many you have. My Rex rating is over 1000 because I just kept feeding him crappy dinos after I helped him kill the old Rex. Choose the gene modifications for the maximum rating and you'll need fewer dinos.

My park has a tyrannosaurus, a metriacanthosaurus, a ceratosaurus, 3 deinonychus, 4 gallis, 4 chasmos, and 2 camaras. All but the gallis and camaras are modified.

Carnivores mostly have higher ratings than herbivores.. My isla pena has deinonychus, velociraptors, a t.rex, and a few metriacanthosaurus.

Get rid of your herbivores that don't like high population in your pen... The island is too small for that bs.

I have about 35 dinos total, all the herbivores are the kind that need high social like Parasaurolophus. Didn't know you could do it with only 15 dinos so that's my bad on the misinformation I gave out earlier.

With only 15 dinosaurs you will get some minus points for less variety, but that won't hurt your 5 stars as long as the overall dino rating is high enough to tank the minus points ;)

Take a look at your ratings. Where are the stars missing? Dinasaurs? Or the Park stuff? I suffered a lot on an equal problem but then I mentioned that it was the Park capacity that denies the fifth star. So take a look at your ratings page, read what is missing an then click on the rating to see the details (food, fun, etc). I finished my last island just a minute ago. And, what can I say? It was a hotel, that was missing.

It's doable with herbivores too. Just completed it earlier today with 34 dinosaurs total, 7 of which were carnivores, and virtually none were modified. Not saying I did it the most efficient way, but it worked ...

This is the area where the provided pen is. I built another enclosure and put my service buildings between the 2 exhibits. The ranger and ACU bulding is placed behind the hotel. I had herbivores in the original pen and tranq'd and moved a ceratosaurus and raptors into the other pen.

The middle area I created long pen and used tower viewing platforms with a gyrosphere ride between them to get a good view of the pen. I stocked it with diplodicus, t'rex and dilopasaurus.

i would consider minimaxing the park, having only two pens that share the guest stuff, one as a smaller starter pent to have diplos med carnivor and small carnivore, this will help you get of the ground to get to the good stuff, second pen will be a highly moded indom and some small carnivors for ♥♥♥♥♥ and gigles, feed the indom high tier dinos like rexs mid carnivors and large herbivors, slap is a monirale to the action and a hotel area to deal with crowding. the indom will cary the dino rating with the combat infamy and they share the guest stuff so keeping the people happy is easy.

An easy way to get a high rating is put the indom in a large pen with a pack of raptors (modified of course) as raptors are the only animal that can live with it. Just dont tranq them without tranqing the indom as well or it will kill them.
