Am I the only one struggling with satisfaction issue?
Or is it that I haven't tried hard enough? Should I start again with research carried over? I don't like demolishing many buildings. I don't know why guests are not happy although I put pretty much everything they want. Food, drink, fun, etc are barely over half most of time. Is it that I haven't put them all over islands? Not enough buildings for each factor?

you need to satisfy those needs near hotels and attractions mostly and you'll be fine.

yup to satisfy the guests requires a whole host of things to get your rating up you have to make sure the dinos are properly taken care of and fed, Their hapitat is correct for them, Indeed as you said food shop, Mechandise shop, Hotel etc, Make sure your staff is suffient enough, Theme park facilities are in good standing if left in shelters too long is never a good thing, try to prevent dinos from escaping.

FYI the game was very much designed for you to go back to your islands and demolish things.

Heck I think its actually easier to do this, go to new island, use up all your money, get the unlocks, go back to previous island, use all of your endless sources of income to expedite all the newly unlocked research very quickly, then go back to new island, rinse and repeat.

The island you start off in financial ruin, i simply just went back to my other island and got a bunch of rocks to sell.

Select a facility building, select a management like fun, pan the camera around for buildings that aren't blue (orange or red). Those are the guests that require fun facilities, etc. Also increasing employee count helps boost that facilities source.

Oh so I shouldnt' always concern about money even if it means losing money? I should hire more staff to satisfy guests? I mostly employ 1 employee.

There is a tool were u can see wich hotel/sight tower needs (food, drinks, shoping, fun) if u see an hotel in red just put another souvenirshop/etc. or give morre staff to ur existing ones. Also put them close to the hotels/sights towers.

Would you mind putting screenshot for better understanding? I can see what you mean, but it is kinda hard to follow.

When you click buildings, you will see about 3rd or 4th row with people sign. You click that and set how many employees you want to hire.

One thing helped me out a lot with guest satisifaction. It was when I realized guest do not actually go from the entrance to other areas of your park. They are generated by buildings.

Placing shops iin areas that look like they have high traffic is not always best. What you should focus on is placing them where the most buildings possible fall within their AOE. It does not matter how far away from other same shop type it is. The location does not matter except being in a place that puts multiple buildings in the AOE.

With my first layouts I was designing the parks thinking guest actually go from the entrance to other areas of the park. That I should place shops where I expected most guest to pass at somepoint in their visit. Once I started designing solely based on AOE my ratings skyrocketed.

You want as many hotels, viewing platforms and monorail stations in their AOE as you can get.
