Doesn't matter. If the raptors want to break out, they will, no matter what.

They absolutely do matter. Yes, they can always break them, but the stronger walls take signfiicantly longer.

If they calm down before they break the fence, then they'll stay put and leave the wall alone. I had multiple situations where a big storm came in, spooked my raptors, and they attempted to breakout. But because i had strong reinforced concrete walls, they weren't able to break through before they calmed down.

So Sirlight.. the stronger the wall.. the better.

Just tranq your raptors prior to a storm and wake them up afterwards if you're afraid of them getting loose. .

i used the light electric fence but they managed to get through that in about 4 or 5 hits. Atleast the electric stunned them for a couple of seconds so i had time to alert my teams of an escape.
I haven't tried them against the heavy fence yet.

I found the best thing was to throw a large carnivore in there with them. It pacified my raptors real quick. You just have to make sure they can run for cover into the trees and have their own food source. Otherwise the large carno will have its way with them.

electric concrete

Use the big one

Use the electric concrete fence. It really does it's job and if they decide to break out, you'll have enough time since that fence can take quite some time.

I always have my raptors or deinonychus in a smaller pen with one metriacanthosaurus or ceratosaurus (or two, just need seperate feeders on multiple sides of pen), these make them panic and stay away from the fences before they are able to do any real damage, that and I usually have double/tripple electric concrete fences around carnivore pens...

You're pretty much overkill your pen lmao. Having a single row of electric concrete was more than enough for me with raptors and a T-Rex.

you know..

i wonder if having a small fence in the middle of a pen would cause them to go after that instead of the main fences..

THanks guys!

I'll try this xP

and only use electic, normal versions off fences are useless, a light steel electric fence will take longer to destory then a normal concrete wall fence. and yes I tested. xP

When you get rich, you don't need to think about how much you should pay. Replace it electric concrete as you can when you have enough money. As you know, concrete is strong, and electric effect to dinosaur that they will not attack same fence again when they hit enough other fences. Combined, good!

I've never had them break out of Electric Light.

I suggest using both Electric fence first and big heavy duty fence behind electric fence
