Took 9 hours of attempts but finally got a monorail to fit in that damn path...

har you sure like the monorail, i just have the one loop the first time i made it, then it cut off my water supply so now i just building along long pathing routes and be done with the thing...

Should've spent that time on completing the Chunkingosaurus genome, on the island prior to that.

I'm using just one lab to produce the dinos and then I move them out from there, on Isla pena I'm attempting to make a 100% free roam zone (Almost the entire island) for the dinos with a visitor "cage" in the center with the only access being monorail.

No, it counts. So long as one part of the monorail is linked to a path that leads to the entry point, the game treats it as connected.
At least, as far as I've experienced. I broke part of a path between two monorails while reorganizing my buildings on Isla Tacano, isolating either side and everything on the one side was still functioning as normal.

Still, this is pretty cool. Perhaps a little cluttered for my personal preference, though. My use of monorails, from building my most successful park on Isla Tacano, was to just make a simple series of A-to-B paths that travel back and forth down one track rather than a loop. It helped to save on the clutter of the monorail tracks while sating the transport needs of the guests.

Lots of dead herbivores if you do that considering the current carnivore logic of; if we can eat it we kill it right away.

They do as long as you connect them to another building. That part is already completed I just need more dinos.

Congrats, for me that spot was so cramped right there at the front I kept demolishing over and over then remaking the monorail stations in different directions so everything could fit. It became a obsession to make it fit after so long :P

It still looks ugly, but it was a pain to destroy/rebuilt that part, but I think I was lucky to do a good job on one side, so it was only adjustment on the other side ;)

There is one very close spot and I wouldn't place my hand between, if 2 trains would meet at this point... xD
