Demo?

I want to preorder but was hoping I could download a demo to test it first. Anyone know where/how to download the demo? Its rare I get free time and I have a few hours tonight so want to play some JP.

Why do people keep asking about demos? There is none and there never has or will be there is only the gameplay

I think it's funny that these threads just started popping up. I was just thinking the exact about playing a demo yesterday.

Well, for me, I was like "Oh, this game looks great and its coming out soon lets see if I should pre-order it or wait?" but I couldnt find the demo button. So I asked.

Demos are a thing of the past. Currently the closest thing to a Demo is an early stream on youtube or something. Or lets play videos after release.

Well, I recently found out that even Electronic Arts offers demos for FiFA 18! I found that quite shocking, tbh.

Well, thats gay and stupid. I can see demos on other games on steam. And watching another streamer can't get me a feel for whether or not I'd enjoy actually PLAYING the game. I suppose I can refund it via steam if I don't like it, but still, I think getting rid of demos as a concept is unwise.

I agree, but that's just how it is. Yes some games still get demos, but it isn't something that should be expected anymore. The days of demo discs and the like are long gone. Just be thankful when a game does have one at this point.

Truth to be said. It's a shame and i think just a bit of laziness or maybe fear? from the developers side.
I know that i didn't bought a good three or four dozen games in old times because of demos and the later reviews just confirmed my decision to not buy them. ^^
The refund option is 'ok', but the timeframe of two hours produces more stress than actually enjoying the test time, since you fear that you accidently go over it.
I for myself would realy prefer to play a demo first instead having to invest money to try it for two hours just to refund it later... For this game lets say a small demo island and a couple of missions that show you some features would already be enough.

I agree with you. I rarely watch youtubers since these videos give me no actual playfeel.
And many are too dumb to play ^^
I watch those to have a good laugh on how stupid most are.

demos are pretty rare. The new age demo is beta, and most companies even make you pay for them. I am of the mind demos should be a thing again for larger profile games.

When there is no demo I don't buy a game most of the time. Just because there are gameplay videos it doesn't give me an actual feel of what the game plays like. I want to play a game demo before I know if I want to buy it. Even give us a trial of the game for gods sake.
