[SOLVED] "No suitable 3D graphics adapter is available."

UPDATE: I fixed it. :D Here's what worked for me:

What worked for me was to simply change my laptop's resolution to any other resolution (1024 x 768) then launch the game. If the launch is successful: close the game, change your resolution back to its native resolution and enjoy Overwatch.

Why this worked? Because JWE / JWE2 doesn't have my screen resolution (2560x1440) as an option at all. So I have to play with a different resolution.


Original post explaining the problem + listing other solutions I tried:

((My graphics card btw, - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB))

In the past, I have played hours and hours of JWE on this same PC and it has worked without an issue. I get this same issue with both JWE and JWE2.

However, after uninstalling it and reinstalling it months later, I suddenly can't boot the game anymore.

I get the following message:

"No suitable 3D graphics adapter is available.

Please check that you have a DirectX11 compatible graphics card with suitable drivers installed."

Here is the troubleshooting I have done so far, and it hasn't worked out:

a.) Just reinstall the game once more

b.) Updated my graphics card driver via GeForce Experience.

c.) Delete the "config.jsp" file from the "M:\Program Files (x86) (2)\steamapps\common\Jurassic World Evolution" location.

d.) Tried this:

Sounds like the game might be trying to use the Integrated graphics instead of your graphic card.

e.) Also made sure that I can say 'yes' to this:

When you check your specs via Steam do the "Driver" and "DirectX Card" lines both list your graphics card?

interesting, is it a TV ? why the hybrid resolution when there is better ones, maybe 2x monitors together?
