Losing money, dinosaurs running wild, what to do?

On one Island I'm losing money, deficit budget, and dinos are loose, but I can't tranquiliize cause I don't have any money to spend on tranquilizing them, how can I turn it around if I'm not making money?

Well you can always jump in a jeep and make money off of pictures. Works best if you have a contract and a variety of dinos otherwise you get penalties for taking pictures of same dino over and over.

But real answer is restart island in menu.

If you have a fossil center, go to another island and do some expeditions, take all those high-dollar no-dna rocks back and sell them. You can get a couple million that way pretty easy. Sell off non-critical buildings - especially an innovation center.

I don't know how you can't make money in this game, it's rather easy.

But other than the snarky comment, just restart I guess.

when you have an emergncy, or a huge storm comes through and blows everything up and lets out everything, you have to do cleanup. this can cost alot. then there are the guest who have died and their families are now suing you.

your income of $400k is now -$800k

if you were using your cash to actually play the game, then having more than $20 mil surplus is actually not that common. 20 mil barely covers my modified indo rex (11 mil each, add in a failure to incubate or two and this gets really expensive)

you may even have to restart the island

but before you do that, turn off all the power. or disconnect the road from the entrance, which does the same thing. this shuts down everything and stops your basic costs

Depending on the amount of debt you have, if you have a working Fossil Center you can go to another one of your islands, send your expedition guys on expeditions and just keep all of the stuff that you can sell at the fossil center. Then go back to your failing island and sell those things.

To clarify, you cannot transfer money from one island to another but you can collect fossils on one island and sell them on another island. Some of those fossils are worth 300k or more so if you're only a few million in debt, you can do this a few times to save an island.

If you have too much debt though you may just have to restart the island.

Sounds like you need to work on your management skills. Once you have been running an island for a little while, 20 mil is nothing. Unless you define playing the game as racing through to see who can 'finish' first.

It does have a limit though. You can't go over $1 Billion

ok, first island.
the max income i have gotten is 700k / min

engineering the dinos i like, at that income i hae 50-80 mil in the bank, and that isa just the 5 species of dinos i like

800k to 1 mil per dino, to replace. 4 chasma, 5 apat, 5 veloci, 1 rex, and 5 spinos per hour for the rex to snack on, just because.

try it, make your billion. please let me know how long it takes you

insult my management skills all you like. i have all of the islands at 5 stars. i have all of the acheivements. but i have never maxed out the cash, since i seem to be using it ROFL!

edit: just checke and my highest bank balance is 200 mil or so. and if i fill up all of the labs again, it will easily cut that in half.

just because i am not engineering 1 rex and maxing it to 5k then making the smallest park possible and raking in the cash.... or using the cheapest dinos...

I'm enjoying it just fine. It's a park simulation. A park is a business. The purpose of a business is to make money. And that is done through management, plain and simple.

Suggesting that I don't know how to enjoy the park goes hand in hand with the rest of what you said. Sorry, didn't mean to step on your e-peen.

Oh and by the way - I never said it was poor management. I suggested maybe you need to improve it.

this is a park sim. cash is way down the list.

the easy cash is there so you can make the most epic park anyone could imagine.

have you tweaked ANY dinos yet?

by this point, every single one of your dinos should be 100% DNA, and tweaked til their stats are the best you can edit.

my rex is -30% or more on liklyhood to hatch. it is a battle rex through and through. how are your dinos? how are your parks doing?

obviously not epic, since you are so flush with cash that you can no longer earn any more.

and e-peen.. wtf? are you 12? if so, grow up and go away, i have shoes older than you
