Dead Dinosaur Simulator?
I would enjoy the game but it is just annoying when you have a dead dinosaur every 2 minutes. I am playing campaign mode, actually on Isla Tacaño. To move forward in the campaign you always need a lot of dinosaurs and as soon as there are more than 20 dinosaurs it is just not enjoyable anymore. Has anyone some tipps or is this just a Dead Dinosaur Simulator where 80% of playtime is removing dead dinosaur, creating a new one, deploy dinosaur, anesthize dino, transport dino to the correct cage and this repeating every 2 minutes.......

Well clearly you're not creating dinos with A) longer lifespans and B) higher rating. Also, if you have to transport dinos to a new pen you've built your park wrong. Dead dinos have NEVER been a major issue with this game.

Thank you for your comment. I do use the longer lifespans, the ratings is something I could improve possibly. Park layout is wrong you say....I will also check on this one. Thanks !

Have you ever tried to fit all the dinos in the game onto one map? Including the ones from all the DLCs? But without the Dr. Wu genes?
No matter the lifespan, it gets really annoying. One dino dies, the rest of the herd gets mad. All the time.
Of course, then you have got more than 20 dinos. Way more.

Besides, I never build more than one Hammond lab.

manage your park better then and they wont die so often. Dont blame the game because of your mistakes

it is not about managing park. they just die because of age....

No dinosaur dies within minutes of being released. Even a Struthiomimus with no modifications can last a while, and they're usually the ones that fall like flies. Could it be that this group of dinosaurs that you say die every 2 minutes are probably ones that you incubated and released back to back and their life-span just happen to be up at roughly the same times?

I've had huge parks with many dinosaurs and yes at moments, there will be several deaths in several different enclosures around the same times. That is rather annoying to attempt to repopulate the species to meet their Social needs, (if you kept it to minimum to where if 1 dies, they all start to become uncomfortable), but it's just part of the game. Things die. But no dinosaur dies within minutes of being released. You have, with all dinosaurs, a very good length of time before that dinosaur dies.

However, there are some islands with different weather patterns or more frequent severe weather patterns than other islands, that can cause your dinosaurs to stay weak or get sick more often. This can seriously cause dinosaurs to pop off and die a lot more than usual. In these situations, you must modify and create a more robust species of dinosaur to have them live longer and become less susceptible to diseases/sickness.

Thanks a lot for the hints again. I will try it out again. My dinos all die because of age, healthy wise they are good. I think I just have to find out a way to meet the campaign requirements without having a lot of dinos.

NONSENSE!! Pack that park full of dinosaurs!! Do you have the Claire's Sanctuary DLC? Those PaleoFeeders increase your dinosaurs life-span by 40% and increases their Star Rating by 40% as well. I mean if you have a large amount of different species, then the PaleoFeeders would be hectic, since you can only build 1 building and have 5 different types of plants at a time... all types of species are picky. But, it gives you something to do and prolongs your dinosaurs and increases their Rating.

I have all DLCs but have not played the Claire's Sanctuary yet. So I will get a try...Thanks a lot again for the help !

Wait... You're dead. You died back in 1993 because you're dumb xD

I've done all the campaigns, I did not care a lot about resarch and creating super dinosaurs, I got ok with the basic ones most of time...and I had a lot of them on every island. Yet I did not feel like most of my time was removing dead dinosaurs. There were periods, in which some of them were dying by packs (the ones created together), and I was always sad to see them dying (I've had enjoyed a mod in which they would be immortals, not because of gameplay, but because I was SAAAD to see them dying). I always create them by waves, which may explain why I experienced periods with many deaths, and loooonger periods without any.

I really do not share your impression about this game. I feel like they had a correct lifespawn, if we look at it from a gameplay perspective. To be honest, the lifespawn of my human visitors was not much greater.

I'm still amazed they came back no matter how much I sucked about security. Guess some people need their adrenaline !

Please apologize my english.

You need to build in some padding on certain dino groups, Also you can use the other mods to make you need less and sometimes they can be solo. It can help.
