I know but it is frustrating at all -.- and this "not enough capacity" Bug is illogical too... How can that be?? I have on all buildings 5 employees, crafted tons for food, fun etc ..but there is still the message "Not enough capacity". Even my buildings aren't full occupied so far... But as example, the "food" Rating has 50%, wtf ?? The prices are normal, Not Changed and the profit is really small. I don't know how to change that.
Its not enough to have a central location for the shops, or to have a single shop with max employees. Every viewing location and hotel has needs, and by the sound of it some are just too far from a suitable shop. There is an overlay option in the menu on the left. Use it, and build a new shop of an appropriate type where its needed most (when using the overlay, where ever you see red or possibly yellow buildings). Basically, multiple shops of the same kind with fewer employees and spread out among your viewing locations is better than one or two shops with maxed employees - there is a certain radius where the shops function. It doesn't matter if they could handle more customers, if those customers are outside that area.
As for the small profit, sounds like you haven't jacked up the price enough. Change the price of what the shop sells (and possibly change the specific item the shop sells). There is a point where raising the price will actually decrease profits, but you can raise it substantially from the default.
As for profits, the moment you build a Facility, whichever kind of building it is, try this: Adjust the price of the item or food it's selling by $10 more than what it's original price is. Don't crank it up too high. $10 is a very very good beginning margin. Too high and Guests will not buy from it, or very rarely buy from it. Too low and you'll lose money. $10 more is the golden spot for beginning until you get massive amounts of Guests coming in, then you can crank it up a few more bucks. This really works and helps.
As for your Severe Storms or "Tornadoes" that you get, there are only 2 ways to deal with this.
FIRST THING: Is that once you're in a scenario that offers Severe Storms, every 30 minutes the game will hit you with a storm and there is a high chance that it could bring in a tornado. So every 30 minutes expect it. This is incredibly annoying and frustrating but it's doable. You can even put this on a timer so you can better prepare yourself. Before a storm hits, you will hear a warning that a storm is being tracked, you'll have to pay attention to this because sometimes you can barely hear it. Immediately open ALL Shelters to protect your Guests so profits don't plummet once the storm hits. After doing that, go straight to your ACU and Ranger teams and send them to tranquilize carnivores, just in case. Loose carnivores will give you the most trouble, even though herbivores are annoying when loose as well.
SECOND THING: Use the game's programming against it. For Severe Storms, tornadoes in particular, they are programmed to strike where your park is more dense. And that's always in the worst possible places. It doesn't matter where the tornado lands, it will head to the most dense part of your park, causing the absolute most damage. So keep that in mind, (most dense). Now I can explain how to do this but this would just be a much longer paragraph than it already is. So my advice is to look this up. Look up "How to stop Severe Storms permanently" and you'll probably laugh at how to do it, and how simple it actually is, and how awesome it is to be able to put a stop to all storms permanently in the Campaign or Challenge you're currently playing at the moment.
Hope this helps buddy.
yeah is not fun feeling but use manual saves when can.
First of all, i've checked up the overlay option ingame and yes, a lot buildings was missed there. As example, not enough Bars and StreetFood. I could fixed a lot problems in my park and was a great feeling.
But at least, my Park Rating stucks still on 4.0 - 4.2
Biggest problem are the Dinosaur visibilitys. It struggles between 65-90% - i don't know why.

Maybe anyone can find the solution for this problem :/
Its a standard campagne mode :)

and there is still the message "not enough capacity" ...
My Hotels (3 Hotels) capacity has reached 60-70%. So, high stats aren't good on this point ??
When you click on your Hotel, does it really say Capacity is at 60-70%? When it says any % when you click on a Hotel, that means "over capacity". Or are you talking about the Island Rating stats?
Solution: i had 3 Hotels on the map, after 4 Hotels more, i got the 5 Stars on the island :)
This strategy was even helpfull on the other maps in the game. All 5 Stars on all Islands. So great.
congrats! so the storm did nothing, just fix your park and build more hotels... lol
This game is pretty much only playable a nice little sandbox to design a cool looking jp.
