Whats the point of Power Outage Protection,

I have 2 outage protections applied on a power supply and I have 4-5 power outages per hour.

do you have any improved output add-ons hooked up?

also, stupid question, do you have enough power/power plants to begin with?

There are only the 2 outage protections on that power station

It is a Small Power station

Are you sure it's not being done through sabotage? The power outage protection only stops normal power outage or power outage by storms, it doesn't do anything to prevent a power plant being shut down by sabotage. And you definitely need enough power plants to ensure you don't get any loss of power (clicking the eye symbol on the left side of the screen allows you to see everything from a management view so it's easier to know what and where to build)

If a sabotage happens,you get notified.There were none of those notifications and no storms were involved in this time.

If i you have no power output upgrades then you should have no chance of outage beyond sabotage and storms. The increased output is what introduces random outage chance, could it be you just missed the notification for sabotage/storm damage?

Or did you add something that took you past your power limit. That would result in some buildings going offline and may seem like a random outage :)
