Objects in mirror closer than they appear achievement?

Hey!

How does this achievement unlock? I've tried it 4 or 5 times by now at least, but it just won't pop up. I get in the ranger to drive into the T-rex enclosure, wait until he attacks my vehicle and then drive around for at least five minutes even, but nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong? Help :(

Bumping and following post, but I dont know. I dont play to unlock achievements in any game. If they unlock they unlock! Hahahahaha

I think you need to make sure the dino is actually following you and not stopping after the jeep got too far away. So try driving just fast enough that it doesn't get you but not so fast that you outrun it completely.

I'm sure that is not the issue. I've looked at guide videos on Youtube and they drove out of the enclosure and around their entire park and still ended up getting it.

I'm starting to think this one is buggy.

yeah I got it long ago, not sure directly by T-rex hit and return to the Rangers station stop.
try get the first hit by T-rex and "speed run" the T-rex, let it continue follow your jeep untill 2 mins pass. (avoid any new hit in the procces)

Can also try to survive the T-rex "attacks" with at least 50% hp or less.

if not so yeah kinda buggy.. weird.

Well here I am several years from the OP... it must be buggy. I have tried many times and still no trigger. I am going to try on different islands.

Maybe you need to have the DLC (Return to Jurassic Park)?

Didn't work for me in challenge mode but went back into the Return to Jurassic Park DLC mission (had one saved from ages ago with a T-Rex) and let it attack me and just left the enclosure, unlocked fine then.
