Worth buying without DLCs?
Guys, I been looking for this game for so long and i want to give a chance but I am hesitant about if this game is worth buying only base game?

Some says Dr. Wu makes game more enjoyable but dlc is more expansive than base game in my currency.

As for the mission DLCs (Dr Wu and Dr Claire)... Wu is about 5 to 6 hours of gameplay, about 5 missions and involve your getting more proficient at managing dinosaur combat aspects and get a little creepy with hybrids. Instead of going out to a movie or pub, this DLC will be way cheaper!

I didn't get the Dr Claire one... the reviews were meh.

You can play it without the DLC's and come back later when you get them. But Steam will probably have its Black Friday sale this month and the winter sale, next month, so you could grab the complete collection then.

From the DLC's, Return to Jurassic Park is the meatiest, but it's a separate campaign. It adds the most to the main campaign once finished. Clare's Sanctuary is the most difficult and adds little to the main campaign, still, i am enjoying the challenge. The Secrets of Dr. WU unlocks in the main campaign, so that is its main advantage. Don't expect a lot of stuff, but...the hybrids are fun.

For extra dinos, the dino packs are fine. The velociraptor skins... well, they are skins, get them only if you want to support the devs or if you are a completionist, that must have the complete game.

Guys, game is already on sales with 75%, but still expansive for my currency. I dont think Black Friday or any other sales would make difference. So,my question is basically, I can't afford get all game, but is it still enjoyable if I only pick base game?

it's ok for like 80 hrs max to finish all campaign as i did, after that dlcs make more fun with new dinos and structures, missions and evironments etc..

if you like dinos and park managment get it, check more gameplay, read reviews if is helps :)

If i remember the basic game without dlc contain 45 dinos, if you take all dlcs you will end with 68 alive animals ^^

here a list from in-game dinos of 60, 8 other dinos missing at that moment:

Damn, u have great dedication to this game, thanks for explaning. So you are basically sayin that, you can play this game around 80 hours without dlc, but some point you better get dlc for more fun.

But, is there any good about dlc's except new dinos?

Yeah, as I said dlcs gives new building options and missions, new island sides: Return to Jurassic Park gives new Campaign.
Dr. Wu and Clar's dlcs gives more add on to main Jurassic World Campaign.

Is all up to you if you want test it by yourself and enjoy the gameplay more with the park building, and the dinos for sure.

Actually, I am more interested in manegement and building varieties than campaing. I mean, I like to build a park where I can control like Zoo Tycoon or Planet Coaster. Anyway I just got the base game without a dlc's, If I find what I look in this game, dlc's will come after.

Honestly, I love playing the Main campaign have played it through several times. My personal opinion is the Dr. Wu expansion is the best. I have them all but if I was going to recommend any one dlc it would be Dr. Wu.

It's one of those games where you'll start playing and think you've wasted your money and then before you know it 40 hours go bye and you're playing Need for Speed: Medicate like a pro.

Edit: I have the DLCs already but I think it's worth playing even without since all the DLCs add is more dinos and island challenges from what I can tell.

Short answer: yes. :-)

Wait for a sale and buy what you like. You can buy DLC via a later sale. I just bought base game and DeLuxe DLC on the recent sale, and i'm not disappointed. I have much to discover and to try finding more efficient ways to build a nice park, to kill the time until the next sale for some DLC. If you like the movies, you'll like the game too, it's fun even without DLC.

This is an old post, you are probably still seeing this because this game's discussion is not much, so stil this post is shown up. Also, I already have the game without DLC's and I am really quite enjoying.

Thanks for replying anyway, maybe other people can advantage of your answers.
