Can't do anymore expedtions...?

I have unlocked a 5 islands now, 5 facilities plus the "sandbox" island one. However I am getting quests to find certain dinos etc but there is nowhere I can go. They all say that they are either depleted or "no new fossils found" or something like that.

I have not used the challenge mode as yet, cuz I don't know how that works. Am I supposed to be using it, how do I unlock more expeditions sites??

You only unlock everything if every island has an expediton, fossils and research building, simultaniously.

And of course have done every three missions per island.

That is not helpful. So far as I go to each island I AM building those things and doing expeditions. However when I got to Isla Tacano I depleted what expedition points were left to raise $ and now that I am moving on to the next island I have nowhere left to do any expeditions...

Simply reject the contracts that ask for digging up something you can't and accept the ones you can complete. This way you'll eventually unlock new fossils. Go to the contracts screen to see how much rep you need for the next reward and which department leads to unlocking fossils.

So contract lead to unlocking expedition points..? So I quit the taske I can't do and wait ffor more. Thankyou, I will try that..

Contracts lead to unlocking a whole bunch of stuff.

Well I AM doing the contracts and the "special" misssions on each island so far but when I go to the expedition map there is NOWHERE I can go. They are either red triangle (depleted) or a green circle with gold tick (no new fossils).

HOW to I unlock / open up more places to dig..???

Certain species are locked behind reputation and missions from the divisions.

have you gone into the research station and looked at the "Fossils" tab?
have you unlocked the research for the dinosaur fossils you want to search for?

have you unlocked the research for the dinosaur fossils you want to search for?

Yes I have looked and none are available atm..

Oddly enough, sometimes I get contracts that are the opposite: complete a genome for a dinosaur I haven't even unlocked. (For instance, being asked to get your Allosaurus genome to 50 percent, on Isla Pena, when all you've done on Sorna is set up research, expedition and fossil centers just to be able to start getting the Spinosaurus genome.)

Since you have all islands unlocked, there must be something left undone on at least one of them. How many dinos do you have unlocked?

I just finished island Pena and soon will start on Sorna. This means I also have all islands available. To get here, I unlocked everything on each island by doing missions, contracts and make all parks 5 stars. Played every map unitl I stoped receiving new stuff and now I have a total of 33 out of 43 (don't have the DLC) dinos unlocked. Tell me your number so we can compare.

You can click on each dinosaur and it tells you how to unlock it. Maybe this will help narrowing down the problem.

Exactly, I get many of those type and I can't go get any fossils.. Altho I did just unlock 2 more, finally.

You can click on each dinosaur and it tells you how to unlock it. Maybe this will help narrowing down the problem.

I still have Isla Sorna and the Tacano research facility to unlock, but all the rest are unlocked. As for dinos, I have 29 unlocked so far.

raise your reputation with all the divisions on every island, do every mission on every island, discard contracts you can't do and do the ones you can. unlock more islands by raising your star rating, all of these things are explained in the tutorial or in tip widgets/popups that appear on screen.
