Yes. The gyrospheres are "invisible" to the animals. Even the Indominus doesn't notice the gyrosphere until the phone of one of the kids starts ringing.

Yeah, it's perfectly fine. I built a park where almost all of the carnivores had gyrospheres and nothing bad happened.

yes, you can put it with any dino you want, anywhere you can place it from fench and back to the gyrosphere station, is never be destroyed. (now 1-1-2019, who knows if in one update...)
just be aware is can 'steal' grassland area for your dinos habit.
