I dont see sleeping Dino's!

Do you have to start a new game for this to work. another thing If you leave an island and then go back to the Island you started from the previous Island is locked

I believe the day/night cycle is only unlocked when you reach 5 stars on each island in the campaign. When I was working on the Isla Muerta East (new DLC map). I had day/night cycles and saw sleeping Dino's all the time. Naturally, they would never be sleeping when I had to snap a picture of them for one of the contracts lol.

yes the day/nighit cycle is a big downer as not aviable in campaign on what i understand

sleeping dinos is soo rare and they only sleep few seconds pointless if u ask me

the rest is really great new group features i love how they walking together as a group

i have seen my dinos (not all of them) sleeping in isla nublar, not much in regular campaign island ^^

I've seen mine sleep quite often it seems on the first island.

Same, and I'm only on around 3 stars so I don't think the day / night cycle has any impact

The sleep mechanic is definitely in there but it is random and based on health instead of being based on its own unique status bar as it should be.

You have to set it up yourself in the gameplay settings. Although you can only activate it once you've got a particular island to 5-stars.

You have to 5 star all the campaign maps before the day/night cycle becomes available.

"realismus" shall not be a campaign reward it is a simple day night cycle

Personally and in my own humble opinion,I think it is utterly stupid.
I want to enjoy all the islands with day/night cycles from the start not from 3/4 or whatever through the game.Just why oh why.
And yes that capture a photo of sleeping dinos is just there to taunt and frustrate you im sure.I tried it twice and each time the dinos got up as soon as i got near lol.It got dumped after that.
Love the mission that asks you to get a dino to particular rating and then after a thousand combinations of attempts you realise you need to unlock more genes.
Other than the odd gripe though i love the game to bits and progress isnt too difficult on any of the islands.
Oh and its sooo pretty i wanna lick the dinos :)
