I doubt it. It'd ruin the point of those tours if all they did was get destroyed lol Even though it dosen't make sense, I rationalize it like, the rangers are known to shoot the dinos and it irritates them so when the rangers come around, the dinos know and kinda like a cat in a vet hospital, attack them lol
- All herbivores are completely safe as far as I know. On one occasion I had a vehicle trampled by an Apatosaurus, but the game crashed soon afterwards, so I think it was a glitch.
- Some small carnivores are safe too. Never had any trouble with Dilophosaurus, Proceratosaurus or Compsognathus.
- Herrerasaurus, surprisingly, is not safe. They attack tour vehicles that get close.
- Other small carnivores I still need to test. Velociraptor seems to be safe so far, but I've heard that including an animal with the Blue cosmetic gene makes them more aggressive. Deinonychus and Troodon I haven't tested at all yet.
- Large carnivores obviously aren't safe. The only species I've properly tested was Metriacanthosaurus, but the result was bad enough that I haven't tested it with any other large carnivores.
With ranger vehicles, any dinosaur can cause it some damage if they run into it. I've also had a range of dinosaurs, even some 'armoured' herbivores like Triceratops, actively attack the vehicles.
Agitated: Medium Herbivores and Small Carnivores.
Danger: Carnivores
It's very strange, I'd like to know exactly how Frontier programmed the vehicle attacking behaviour.
(Also, I think some of the large carnivores may be more likely to attack Explorers than others. Spinosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus do it regularly, Baryonyx and Allosaurus do it rarely, and my Ceratosaurus has never attacked a tour vehicle to date. But on the strength of what happened with my Deinonychus, maybe it's down to the enclosure layouts rather than traits in the animals themselves?)
(Also, if an animal is stressed, attacks on vehicles are probably going to be the least of your problems.)
