Which Dinosaurs can destroy vehicles?
Out of curiosity and for anyone with experience: Which dinosaurs (in general) are a threat to vehicles, and which vehicles are vulnerable to attack? Eg. Should we avoid putting tour trucks in with hadrosaurs and sauropods? Can you safely place a gyrosphere into a carnivore enclosure? etc.
Thanks in advance

- All herbivores are completely safe as far as I know. On one occasion I had a vehicle trampled by an Apatosaurus, but the game crashed soon afterwards, so I think it was a glitch.

- Some small carnivores are safe too. Never had any trouble with Dilophosaurus, Proceratosaurus or Compsognathus.

- Herrerasaurus, surprisingly, is not safe. They attack tour vehicles that get close.

- Other small carnivores I still need to test. Velociraptor seems to be safe so far, but I've heard that including an animal with the Blue cosmetic gene makes them more aggressive. Deinonychus and Troodon I haven't tested at all yet.

- Large carnivores obviously aren't safe. The only species I've properly tested was Metriacanthosaurus, but the result was bad enough that I haven't tested it with any other large carnivores.

With ranger vehicles, any dinosaur can cause it some damage if they run into it. I've also had a range of dinosaurs, even some 'armoured' herbivores like Triceratops, actively attack the vehicles.

The induminos attack one at me and it flew like 3 meters and it was fine afterwards.

I doubt it. It'd ruin the point of those tours if all they did was get destroyed lol Even though it dosen't make sense, I rationalize it like, the rangers are known to shoot the dinos and it irritates them so when the rangers come around, the dinos know and kinda like a cat in a vet hospital, attack them lol

Safe: Small Herbivores maybe and large herbivores
Agitated: Medium Herbivores and Small Carnivores.
Danger: Carnivores

How do you mean by "agitated"? I've been running tours through a Dilophosaurus enclosure for hours now, and haven't noticed any difference in their behaviour. Not even any panic, which the herbivores will do if they block a tour's path. Herrerasaurus, on the other hand, actively attacks the vehicles (frequently).

Low comfort

Still not seeing it. I've had tour vehicles right next to Dilophosaurus, Proceratosaurus, Compsognathus and Deinonychus, with no drop in their comfort level or comfort threshold, no panic, and no vehicle attacks.

Yes, they attack when they have low comfort.

Funny thing happened with my Deinonychus this evening - I reconfigured the enclosure, and they started regularly attacking (and even destroying) the tour vehicles. So I deleted one of their feeders, re-placed it further away from the tour track, and have had zero problems after another hour and a half of gameplay. No change to the fences, foliage or tour route.

It's very strange, I'd like to know exactly how Frontier programmed the vehicle attacking behaviour.

(Also, I think some of the large carnivores may be more likely to attack Explorers than others. Spinosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus do it regularly, Baryonyx and Allosaurus do it rarely, and my Ceratosaurus has never attacked a tour vehicle to date. But on the strength of what happened with my Deinonychus, maybe it's down to the enclosure layouts rather than traits in the animals themselves?)

I run a tour through a Velociraptor pen and the raptors regularly, actively attack the tour vehicles.

Babalonkie, read the posts again. Comfort isn't the issue in the examples I'm giving.

(Also, if an animal is stressed, attacks on vehicles are probably going to be the least of your problems.)
