Mark a post as the answer so other people know before buying. There is a tick box to the to right of the post that best explains your problem.
if that is really the case then i kinda agree this dlc is not the best.
I care enough to try, i will get back to you.
Oh very interesting ill try that right now
Just did, did not work.
I had the same problem with my first Nublar replica that you guys had earlier today and it made me start over, but YES you can get the jeeps running past the visitor center door AND have a working park at the same time. You just have to contain your buildings to a "bubble" behind the visitor center. And you can make that "bubble" really pretty big if you manage tour track to follow the absolute outer edge of the island.

These are just a quick example I threw up in the 10 minutes of play. There not meant to look good or atmospheric, just show proof of concept.
So not remotely like JP in anyway...
Tell me, which super official canon map of 1993 Isla Nublar are you using? Is it the one from that poorly made promotional brochure for the film? Or is it one of the 5 fan made edits that have different geography for each scene? Or is it the layout given in the original Chricton Novel?
Is it just me or is there actually NO official 100% reliable canon map of Nublar in 1993? And that the vast majority of designs are simply speculative with their own liberties? Its almost like we only saw a VERY small amount of the tour because of...y'know the T-Rex breakout.
You see what I'm getting at. In reality the games problem isn't the track system (though having paths cross them would be welcomed) but the size of the islands, which we've been complaining about since day one. My ideal Nublar would include everything. The docks on the coast, the unoccupied mountainous highlands, the service roads and tunnels. Everything. If you want to complain, complain about that. Because that's the real problem this game has had. The build space is still to small. And instead of Frontier giving us larger and gigantic islands to compensate, they just ignore it because they have to appease console players (so they say).
But please don't be a douche because your first park design didn't go according to plan. Pick up and start again. Oh, and the Helipad in-game is definitely not the same one they land on in movie. The one in game is very clearly designed for tourist arrivals and departures and the one in the film was probably one of several designed away from the greater park area of staff use. Maybe it was temporary until the primary arrival point was constructed. Use your imagination, its a game about a dinosaur theme park.
Hmmmm let me see...
How about the only one made by the the people who actually made Jurassic Park the film and which magically coinsides with everything you see in the film... Not a hard one really. Oh and i am actually experienced enough to know about the track direction and paddock location debate back from the day...
Sounds like your hurt by facts. Yeah you did not provide this DLC with any defence just there and keep it up and this thread will get locked... with the facts permanently on display.
:)
Which map is that. I'd love to see it? Also way to ignore most of my major points.
Almost as good as you trying to move around the fact the devs know nothing about JP and the DLC does not allow for ANY form of screen accuracy in park layout.
:)
Where's the map? Send a link. I'm waiting.
