As large carnivores, Bary's really shouldn't be living with other Dinosaurs unless you want a fight to the death.
Edit: And of course if you do that, you will need multiple food/water sources in the paddock, or the large carnivore will keep the small ones from eating or drinking until they starve.
I'm aware, but yes, what you say is true.
But yes, don't put any of the big carnivores of different species together, thats just a mess waiting to happen, you can put the Sauropods in with some of the big carnivores ok aswell, though Iv'e seen a I-rex kill all of them.
Indeed, unless you intention is a prehistoric Thunderdome, heh. That's how I've been filling my time on my latest Nublar rebuild, feeding variously modified large carnivores to my Indoraptor while I await other dinosaurs being incubated for the park. So far she's eaten one of each large carnivore, save Indominus, which was incubating when I went to bed last night.
Edit for your edit: Yeah, I've seen mention that the large sauropods are okay with anything but the hybrids. I actually haven't bothered mixing up carnivores with herbivores like that yet, though the end goal of my Sorna safari design is to have both mixed together in each of the larger valleys.
Well, it's a good way to raise their star rating, heh.
of course you get diminishing returns after several champion lines. for example a Gen1 Champion could be worth 400 points but will only grant 200 to its Gen2 champion (and 100 points to the Gen3, 50 to Gen4 and so on). Champion dinos are more expensive to maintain, but showcasing fewer, higher rated dinos is the easy road to geting 5 stars, simply cause of how park ratings are calculated, plus its not like money is ever a huge issue after you build your starter paddock.
The Hybrids can live with small carnivores just fine though.
