Game randomly stops responding to keyboard and mouse?

It listens to mouse movements fine though

I had this problem (if you mean it ignores mouse clicks and keys seem sticky/unresponsive) until I disabled steam overlay in game.

I just recently had an odd issue today, where the game kept having my camera stick to moving whatever direction I was moving when it happened until I paused the game. Like if I was moving the camera southeast to look at another part of my park, the camera would randomly get stuck moving that direction.

Gonna try disabling the overlay, because this was actually the first time I've used it in this game (to upload a screenshot) and this is also when it happened.

Multi monitors will cause issues like this as well.

Also i had ot happen once that the game just stopped working all together. Like a complete freeze up. In the task manager it was still responding and all. After a fast rebvot of my sytem i found my steam updated and all was good again.
I wonder if steam needing updates "blocks" or prevents steam apps from running?!
