its strange that all islands are suppose to be part of the same company but you dont have acess to the same bank account in each one.
Except....
..... it basically is broken. I don't see the point in a separate bank, without separating the resources too... but... nope. So, ok.. don't seperate resources or bank then.... hmmm.. nope.
The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing.
Plus they do get mission that expected you to do. When you do not have resources for it at first place. Could be why they left Resources to be allowed to be transfer resources. But on one of biggest Island you can not in either way at all which is why that one is unlimted
But to add: Gameplay wise it is NOT broken. Simply as you need this mechanic for Isla Tacaño, as there you start with -950,000$.
Even if you sell almost everything you will have hard times to recover and get a park running.
So this system is a life saver and absolutely intended.
You can get a park working without switching islands for sure, but it takes way more time and can end up being bankrupt if not done correctly.
So I appreciate that system.
I even didn't bother on Isla Sorna with making dinosaurs quickly but rather built enclosures and monorails to give my park a bit of a shape, before I even started to hatch.
Expeditions from other islands gave me millions with which I didn't really had to bother about what I am doing. ^^
This is the best advice ever. Can't believe I didn't think of it!
There's ways to do it. The current method of launching expeditions on rich islands to sell on poor islands is a workaround at best, and it hardly penalises the player since progress is paused as you jump over to a rich island for 30 minutes and waste time with expeditions.
At best, it's a workaround. At worst it's not respecting the players time.
Is basically the best way to "transfer" money from one island to the next.
