The Steam Forums are not a place for discussing trainers of a game as per the Steam Rules and Guidelines.

I'll leave this thread open because a feature to unlock all items in the Isla Nublar sandbox is a good suggestion.
TheZeroNeonix Jun 29, 2018 @ 11:36am
Doesn't that defeat the purpose of unlocking those things in the first place?

Is it not defeatist in a way? It just kind of makes the game become a tutorial for the sandbox mode.

Yeah, it's too easy to unlock Isla Nublar, and it would defeat the purpose of playing the game
Just make a two separated sandboxes. One where you need to research and dig up everything, but you can choose which one you want to do first (everything is unlucked) and you have to care about money (just like sandbox in JPOG + also make it harder to earn money). And the second will be unlimited money with unlockables on Nublar. You will still need to put some effort to the game if you want the really unlimited testing mode, but you don´t have to play the campaing to experience full game.

I'm probably bias because I've already played through and unlocked everything, and nearly have 100 percent completion. But since there's no discernable plot driving you through the game, the only carrot is working toward unlocking things for sandbox mode. So getting rid of that would deter 90 percent of the player base from experiencing a core piece of the game

A change I would like to see, however, would be with factions. Factions not sabotaging your park after you've completed their mission on that particular island.

I disagree.

The game isn't terribly difficult to begin with. Unlocking everything early would only detract from gameplay. There would be no need for progression or even looking at the other islands. And even if you did, you could just go to Nublar and pre-test dinos to find optimal combinations for exhibits, thus reducing the gameplay interaction and time of the "challenge" islands.

I do like this idea. A "challenge" mode of sorts where everything is "unlocked" but not "researched". More of an open-ended mission mode rather than the story-driven campaign.

some people may just want to have some fun instead of playing for many hours to unlock everything anyone think of those people? if that means u need to five star the second island then that would be something im sure many people would like to have in the game.

Not everyone plays this game for the same reasons. I'm not what anyone would call a gamer. I like sim building games that are relaxing. I bought JWE because I wanted to create the ultimate beautiful dinosaur park. The graphics and animations of the dinosaurs were what attracted me - and the nostalgia of the Jurassic franchise itself. I had no idea what I was really getting into when I pre-ordered.

I started out ok, I went through the first 3 islands without too much trouble. I didn't leave one until I had unlocked everything possible and completed every mission and contract. I hated some of the contracts but got through them. I found the factions people annoying at best. The sabotage really bugged me but by the time I was finished Tacana I was just trying to get through all that crap and get to Nublar with everything unlocked.

When I got to Pena I was totally overwhelmed. I hated building in the dark. I couldn't drive the damn jeep to save my life. Every big storm caused me to have to start over because I couldn't repair things fast enough and went bankrupt. I kept asking myself who would build a dinosaur park on an island that never sees the sun and is so plagued by tornadoes - and what the heck were tornadoes doing on a tropical island off Costa Rica anyway? By then JWE just made me realize how bad of a gamer I really was and I was really regretting buying it. I suppose I could have forced myself to build the skills needed to get through it but why? It was just absolutely no fun at all anymore and I didn't even want those skills, I just wanted to build a sim dinosaur park.

I was about to give up until I got the cheat game career that's going around and went to Nublar with everything unlocked. Now finally JWE is the game I thought I was buying! I can create a beautiful, peaceful park and enjoy it. For me the challenge is creating a nice layout and making every dinosaur - and my fickle guests - happy. I'm very much looking forward to more content in the future - as long as I don't have to go through hell to get it. I'd gladly pay for add-ons to expand my park and make it prettier and more realistic but I'm not paying money to go through what I did on Pena ever again. I don't want a skill based game. I don't want to have to deal with those awful factions and do stupid contracts and missions on cursed islands. I want to roll around in my gyrosphere and enjoy what I've built and take pictures. When I get tired of that I want to start over and build and even better park. I can see myself playing this way for years as more DLC comes out.

More simulator less game!

look at my hours.
And i have only 13 dinos unlocked.
I did 412 expeditions.
I have Muerta unlocked.
And i just wanna have fun with spino, but they aren't even thinking about making all items feature on sandbox. So it makes less sense.

You do understand that there are people who don't give a single cent for campaigns, right?

Anyway, most simulation games give us everything unlocked on sandbox from the start (or at least lets us unlock them on the sandbox itself). If a person wants to experience the game and it's story, have at it. Why force everyone to go through something that they didn't enjoy in the first place?
They have added settings on the sandbox that are basically cheat codes to activate and deactivate... What's so wrong with having the sandbox with stuff already unlocked?
which are these ,,cheats''? i'm not playing jwe from months but iwanna know

Oh this thread got necro'd again?

If you really want to unlock everything, you don't need a trainer, (which btw Joël told us is against Steam Rules and Guidelines to discuss).

Just use someones 100% completed save game if you want everything without going through the campaigns to unlock, there's some on Nexus mods.
