Does the Baryonyx get along with the Spinosaurus/Suchomimus?
I don't have the spino/sucho yet so I can't test it myself.

I read somewhere that you can keep a spino and a suchomimus together, so does the same apply to the baryonyx, as they're all from the same family?

No.

No large carnivore goes along with another species of large dinossaurs.

Sometime you can have 2 or 3 of the same species.
i.e. Spinossaur (2), Carnotaurus (3), Baryonyx (2).

Just don't mix them.

Well, my Spino ripped my Suchamimus apart as soon as it came out of incubation, I'd imagine the Baryonyx would suffer the same fate, even though all 3 of them share the same family tree - Spinosauridae.

Oh alright, then that was a lie. Thanks for the info!

Domestic cats and Smilodons are both from the same family tree - felidae - though I don't think they would get along.

I simply asked because I remember someone saying that the spino and sucho can live together, so I thought it would work with the baryonyx too. But they already said this isn't true.

No problem, the person may not have been lying by the way, it could have just bugged out or something.

I honestly can't comment on that, I know nothing of Smilodons really.

I believe not?

The only small carnivores are Deinonychus Dilophosaurus and Velociraptor. Every other carnivore is classed as large.

Technically speaking, they are from different sub-families. Spinosaurus being from Spinosaurinae & Suchomimus/Baryonyx being from Baryonychinae

In the 2015 JW website it said they lived together but for now they don't.
Hopefully in the future they can coexist since it would make a really cool looking swamp.

Yeah the social limits in this game quite often contradict the movies.

It was rushed after all. But they don't contradict the movies that much.
The T-rexes in TLW were mates so it makes sense they were a pair, I don't know two Rexes from the same gender can coexist.
The Spino is loosely based on the film one since the film one was confirmed a illegal "experiment" and most likely was rampaging through stuff so they pretty much have freedom to make it the way they like it
Beyond that, I can't think of any dino that has any lore breaks.

The Ankylosaurus hates being in groups but in the movies we've only ever seen it in large herds.

I know of one dinosaur that somewhat breaks the JP lore. The T.rex is a tad bit oversized. The reason why is that it is slightly larger than the Indominus Rex. Henry Wu clearly stated in Jurassic World that it was bigger than the T.rex.

we saw a group of 4 in the movies off by themselves in the forest. I wouldn't call that a 'large herd' lol, and you can keep them in a gorup of 4 in the game

so..it actually goes with the movies
