The dino info screen isn't telling me anything about their needs.
That's the wrong screen. Click the Dinosaur itself and click the Information symbol, scroll down a bit and it tells you the Social and the Population it prefers. After that, it's up to YOU to monitor it and remember it, Honestly though it isn't hard... Most pack dinosaurs are OK with 4 of it's kind. (Good number, 2 extra incubators and 1 success rate/hatch speed for your hatcheries), Most dinosaurs can stand being in a pen with around 8-15 other dinosaurs. Some exceptions being Edmontosaurus who like having large herds, Ankyolosaurus who prefer to be in packs of 4, Brachiosaurus who don't like crowded pens (I wouldn't either if I was that tall!) and the very small, dumb, featherless chicken herbivors that nobody is interested in who can survive in groups of 18-25.
Nearly all large Carnivors are loners, Metiocanthasaurus (spelling... the sick carni from Island 2!) can have 2 in it's pen, All the rest I've seen prefer 1.... Raptors are pack carnivorrs and NEED a pack to feel comfortable
Yea.

1.5to2.0 times larger than the cage which had existed on isla tacano at beggining of management of the island.
Basically this is common to any small carnivorous dinos.

I am not good at English, so if you confused, it's my fault.
What's the fun in knowing which dinos play well together?
In a hypothetical fictional world where a theme park could be built to display dinosaurs generated from gene tech, do you think when the 1st raptor is made it says to the scientists "You know what, I like another dude with me, but I get crowded at 5 or 6". Thanks for the info raptor.
Roleplaying this I would like to see less obvious data like this - not as clear-cut defined anyway - and for us to learn the needs of the dinos through watching and learning their behaviour.
Put a lone raptor in a pen and watch him lose him mind - perhaps he tells you somehow "I'm lonely, give me friends". So, you built a buddy and they are both happy. Great, learned something. Now, keep throwing dinos into the pen until they say "Woah, there dude, we're starting to feel a little cramp here and we might just have to have a civil war between us to balance things out". Great, learned the upper limit.
Slow and painful, but a bit more interesting than build a dino, release him, find out he needs 4 friends and can stomach 20 in a pen straight away, tranq him until you can build more (or risk him going mental). Of course, there is no surprises to be learned in a replay of the game though.
But that is the whole problem. You have to make 1 first before finding out what its needs are. I have 100% geome with these things. I should have that information beforehand. Its a huge failure of the UI to not have vital information available. It takes time to get buddies for my dinos, especially he ones that require 4+. By the time you get them their buddies, they are already bashing through the paper wall this game calls a fence (any version of it. None of the fences can hold back against a damp towel for ♥♥♥♥♥ sake) and murdering everyone in the streets. Then my helicopter team with nothing but accuarcy upgrades spend 20 hours trying to shoot the dumb thing (another useless upgrade in this game.)
