Now they DO get aggitated from bad weather and certain missions and contracts will make them break out also
If you keep them happy, they should almost never break out unless something "goes wrong"
I did that on one, and watch as it was 100% comfortable, it would switch to "Agitated" and not even show the comfort bar and just start attacking the fence for the hell of it, then turn around and drink some water and do it all over again. It literally was 100% happy all the time and was still attacking the fence.
Other than that you just need to keep them happy. On any island with storms, any dino with comfort threshold of 75% or higher will attack the fence immediately after the storm too, just for the hell of it even sometimes when they are comfy.
That may be the issue, since the two that have those gens (need it for the mission on isla sorna) keep breaking out, im going to give it a try
Panic lowers their comfort level. So if they stay in that state long enough they will rampage.
Clicking on the dinos and hitting,"R" tells you exactly what they need to be happy. Go outside those boundries and you will have problems with them. Stay in them and for the vast majority of the time they will happily stay in their enclosures regardless of their gene modifications.
My guess you are exceeding social and/or population limits. If not that then it is not meeting social requirements. I think most people pretty much know how to meet terrain requirments.
If not the above it could be not enough feeders. Only a few dinos are getting enough to eat to keep them happy. Some others in the enclosure are only getting fed sporadically.
I have not tested this with raptors or any other carnivore, but would not be surprised if some get upset if their hunting needs are not met. It is logical to assume since they added 2 type of feeders for carnivores. One fills their belly more while the other fulfills their need to hunt and kill prey.
I had an indominus and 2 spino's that would not behave after the update.
Same story as you. Nothing in the red, no storms, no contracts pissing them off. They were just hungry for human. None of them had agressive instincts (which i don't think matters btw)
I ended up selling them and incubating new ones. Which were fine.
Plus all the maps have aggresive settings. I suspect the first 2 are easy, the 3rd medium, and the last 2 hard. A dino on one of the easy maps probably won't try to break out as much.
