can someone give me tips on how to make profit on isla tacano because when i entered the island i had -950$ and cant buy anything bacause its too expensive. is this a bug or do you really start out with negative cash

It literally tells you this when the island unlocks and in the voice over as the island starts.

You need to sell some items to be able to continue.

As soon as you enter the island, the game tells you that you can earn cash by destroying buildings. It's not rocket science.

you start out with negative cash - sell every building in the park except power and a fossil centre, recreate the enclosure that's half built there and get a couple of dinos and a viewing gallery. If there isn't a fossil centre then build one of those too

You'll be into positive profit very quickly

If you're still short on funds then go to another island, send out expeditions then go back to tacano and sell the goods from the fossil centre

It's not a bug, its the challenge for the island.

Yes, all you have to do is sell some buildings, the innovation center alone should put you into the possitive if you sell that, and you only need a few of the shops.

Noooo, don't sell every building. Sell the one which gives 700-900k and then create dinos in the small pen which is there already. Then you have facilities already and they grant you good income with that little pen and some dinos.

those guest buildings do nothing for profit. Will give you maybe 2k or 3k max, and your park capacity is so low they're just not worth not selling.

selling them will pay for 2-3 struths, which in a matter of minutes will give you 20k+ profit per minute
