Let dinos run wild?
Would it work to let the dinosaurs run wild and keep the guests safe behind fences and walls? There is one island where the dinos do this anyway, they seem really happy when you do this.

Well, the guests wouldnt see most of them if there isnt enough viewing platforms so if it's just one giant island sized pen dont expect alot of stars, also the carnivores will be killing all your herbivores so expect a bloodbath unlus it's all herbivores.

Isla Sorna's Stegos and the one Spino are roaming around as part of a challenge, and may harm or hurt guests possibly meaning you get sued, unless you pen them off and/or tranquilize and sell them.

I've tried this and if you don't have compatable species the carnivores/herbivores will destroy eachother.
Here's my video on compatable species:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxVitU2ovx8

Not with current carnivore genocide mechanics.

If you put the right species together they won't fight/kill.

Carnivores hunting is also being tied to hunger, in the next update... so then, it might work.
But, even then.. there is a problem of Dino needs. They wander and their needs become unfulfilled because of the way it works, using a radius.

Ultimately, they are designed to be inside an enclosure, not roaming free, but hopefully next update, things in that respect will be a little better / achievable.

Good to know. Do we have a release date for the next update?

Yes, then it works. However, currently you cant put a Rex inside a paddock with Trikes and Gallimimus since it'll genocide them. Heck, I've seen Rex go out of her way to kill dozens of goats despite full hunger.

Yeah, same here. Rex can only live with sauropods and little carnis like velociraptor and dilophosaurus. So hopefully their behaviour is changed soon...
