Will there be micro transactions?

I saw a gameplay video and i got to admit, in some points it looks like the jurassic park mobile game. was there an announcement that there will be micro transactions?

Very doubtful about micro transactions to be honest as it wouldn't fit the game model, Frontier doesn't have a past of them either so unlikely. What gameplay made you think of this?

Mobile games get their revenue FROM microtransactions. This is a 60$ game purchase, not some free to play garbage for your phone.

Ja but there are some AAA games that have incorporrated mircotransaactions so you cant really base it on the price you buy it for. But back to the main topic it is highly unluckly that there will be microtransactions and since its just over a week till release and they havent said anything about it i really dont think there will be any

There are some slight purchasable dlc, such as the deluxe addition where it just adds dinosaurs, the devs have talked about this and they aren't going to harass players with microtransactions. Infact, I believe the devs are releasing the Fallen Kingdom DLC for free.

Good grief, good to hear. NO microtrashactions. Thats some of the gaming industries biggest scandals! DLC and expansions I welcome fully though!

Also a good video from the Act Man, he speaks what I have thought about microtransactions close enough.
Worst of it, the publishers and some developers capitalize on the ignorance of casual " why do I care " groups, not bothering to see the bigger picture and make sure the degredation of games as an honest art, piece of modern culture.

F*ck EA. With the way they're going they're gonna be out of the gaming industry within 5 years. The whole lootbox debacle with SW BF2 saw them lose a hefty amount of money in stocks and they are already abandoning the game due to the poor performance it has, money wise.
