Genome percentage
I noticed that you have to have a genome percentage of 50% in order to incubate a dinosaur, but I was wondering, if the dinosaur has a genome of 60%, what would be different if it would be 90%? will it be stronger? Also if the genome is 100%, does that mean you can't add any modern day animal genes in the genome anymore? I would be grateful if someone can explain this to me a bit more, because I don't really get it.

Thank you.

The higher the percent, the longer the dinosaur lives and *I think*, the more likely the incubation is to be successful.

The percentage of the genome effects lifespan, and applying modifications effects validity. Just a guess, but seems about right to me.

From what I've seen Genome percentage decides how many genetic modifications you can add, the lifespan, and the other stats like attack and defence. The higher the percentage, the more madifications you can add and the longer it'll live and higher the attack and defence will be. It also seemed in some gameplay that the genome percentage affected how high the initial viability is, with modifications lowering it.

The precentage is for the lifespan of a species you research. There is "add-on" genome you could put in the dinosaur's DNA but theres one genome that could increase lifespan like bats genome

My question is I already have both Dinos at %100. Am I screwed?

Thanks for any help.

Not at all. The goal is to have it at 100%
The higher the percentage of the genome you have the more you can do with it and the better the odds of a successful incubation.
If you have a dino at 100% Genome it has 100% viability
Making modifications lowers viability. So it's a lot better to start from 100%.

The stats of dinosaurs increase as you increase the genome percentage. Which means a 100% genome Triceratops will have higher attack, defense, lifespan, resilience and rating than a 90% Trike, and the 90% Trike will have better stats than a 60% Trike.
The base viability (chance of incubating safely) of your dinosaur is also equal to the genome percentage you have. Which means the more percentage you have, the higher the chance of incubating safely.
Finally, as you increase the genome percentage, you unlock more gene modification slots, the last slot for each dinosaur unlocking at 100%.

To summarize, high percentages get you better dinosaurs, safer to incubate, but also dinosaurs you can modify more (because more slots, but also because the increased viability gives you a better ability to modify the genome, as gene modes decrease viability). A 100% genome dinosaur is one that you can get to its full potential as an attraction.

the animal get stronger, lives longer, i believe more rating, less chance to fail, more allowed modifications, can make the dino less or more cheaper
