Its not the games fault you imagine games to be a different genre when watching videos and it doesnt turn out to be a furst pursun shootah.
Of everything thats been shown of this game the last thing youd expect it to be is an FPS lol.
Hilarious thread.
not so hilarious
It does have that...thats why its in it. I doubt you just landed on a clip of someone instantly driving a jeep and then instantly shooting something. You dun goofed pal. Thanks for the laughs though.
The funny thing is though looking through your games you seem to like lots of building/ strategy and management games. And yet this is disappointing to you? Hmmmmm
if this isn't your kind of thing maybe you shouldn't buy it? Complaining about it being a theme park management game isn't going to cause the developers to change the game type 2 weeks before the game is released.
Thanks.
it will be comparable to feudal forest life where you can take over the people there in that game, something when you play banish you dream of then it arrives and its lack luster.
honestly whilst okay i saw the trailer and whacked it on the wishlist, im still struck by how a theme park game looks as good as it does, because it looks great, but that gameplay footage ive seen, its nothing more than the same experience as that jurassic world on ios
and yes okay not the exact same, but none the less that is what i believe, i think its a HUGE missed oppurtunity
well I for one am very happy to finally see a major release theme park style game. things have changed a lot since the days of zt2 and jpog, and I'm still not sure what to expect with this one.
but you drive around the jeep, the dinosaurs have advanced behaviors and interactions, etc. etc, this is not going to be a mobile copy.
but there is one thing I think they MIGHT copy from the mobile universe, this trend of "collecting/battling" creatures and using different genetic to change dinosaur looks (such as in JW The Game and JW Alive). I think rather than focusing on the management/tycoon aspect, this may be the bigger part of the game.
at least thats what its becoming, it started as me saying oh fck its just a theme park game and not a blockbuster smash hit in the making.
it depends on what you are looking for. if it was a typical action adventure type game, i'd probably skip altogether, the tycoon thing is really the only saving grace for me.
when i first saw it, two games released on my wishlist, with this one not release yet, so it was a case whack it on wishlist to find it again, go play my new games, time pass, and it was time to check it out more.
but back then i thought it was heading a blend of what it is, but a more crysis/farcry interaction, and the placement of things was secondary. im not a dino fan as such if im honest, but i go cinema regular and so ive watched em all and thats where my interest with the animals stops really.
im playing a managment style game now, its just this i wanted to be the other type, theres loads of themed style placement/menu games around, and with its awesome looks i feel as a action one it could have been as neat as the original farcry/crysis back in the days.
