Playable with just 8GB ram?

GTX 1060 6GB

How accurate are the Recommended Requirements on the Store Page? So far i never played a game where 8gb wouldnt be enough to run it on high settings.

Why would you want to be gaming on just 8 gig of ram? Can you not upgrade it ti 16gig? While I am sure that the game should be able to run on 8 gig, it is the level of expereince you will get that could be effected.

Maybe because you easily pay up to 100€ for 8gb of ram nowadays thanks to all them bitcoin driving up the prices.

I've got 16GB installed running at 3200mhz, however on maxed out graphics I'm only using about 5.5gb. To give you a rough idea

Scaran i have the same configuration than you (gtx 1050ti for me but same CPU and Ram) and i have 40/50 fps in high. So no problem.

I can play all the graphically demanding games today with just 8gb of RAM. 8gb is still plenty of memory. You don't need 16.

My laptop has 8gb of ram. So effectively, more like 6gb. You can still play. It’s suboptimal though. Like you’d be playing at 80%. With lower graphics.

I have a I7 7700 gtx 1070 and 8 gb kingston ram, and I absolutely have no problem playing any game that is released.

8GB od DDR4 ram will be enough 8GB of DDR3 ram will not or may struggle/issues
