Can I put Herbivores and Carnivores in the same enclosure?
Ik it's a dumb question, but idk the limits of this game yet. Would I be screwed if I put them both in the same enclosure?

As someone mentioned, yes you can. But unless you want all of your herbivores killed it's not a good idea. But keep in mind that dinosaurs have attraction ratings and they get a bonus for killing other dinosaurs. So a T. Rex that has killed other dinosaurs is a bigger attraction than a T. Rex that hasn't.

its already hard enough to put carnivores with other carnivores

I do this for fun to watch them eat each other LOL

so long as the herbivore is larger, you can normaly get away with it, triceratops and velociraptor do conflict but ive never had a death with them yet, im guessing so long as thier defence is higher than the carns attack its able to co exist in the same enclosure

100% correct.

They can be put to the same enclosures, but when they get feisty, they're going to attack your herbivores... a lot.

You are right that the small carnivores probably will not kill the bigger herbivore because they do not really dare to attack. However, the Herbivores will still be in panic for most of the time, so this is not really optimal.

You can

But carnivores in this game are way way overly aggressive to the point it is down right stupid. They all act like Indominus Rex from the movies, killing mindlessly. For no reason.

Regardless if they have just ate, regardless if there is plenty of other food. They pretty much kill on sight unless something else is in the pen distracting them like a jeep or Helicopter.

Unless they are the same dino, and were made to be able to have a social need that can handle more then 1. They will kill everything else on sight.

So I advise you to no, do not put anything else in their enclosure unless you specificially want it to die.

Of course you can.
But i think it's either glitched at the moment, or their aggro is set too damn high.
I did some experiments with my pens, and my two Ceratos don't just go hunting when they start to go hungry, they instantly zero in on the herbivores and keep going from herb to herb, killing them all until their all gone, no matter how many goats are running around - it's over in 5 minutes and it ain't exactly a small pen.
It seems impossible to form a semi sustainable mixed pen atm.

I've had no problem putting smaller carnivores in the same enclosures as my large herbivores. No panic, no attacking, no issues. Saves a lot of space.

You can put large herbivores and carnivores without issues..

Just don't tranquilize any dinos in pens with carnivores and leave them there.

Putting small carnivores in the same enclosure as medium or large herbivore with some defense capability is possible, carnivore will try to fight but back off eventually, however this will reduce dino welfare rating

Yes you can, you can even put T Rex and Brachiosaurus in the same enclosure, and they will both be really happy. if the enclosure is large anough can have 1-2 T Rex, 4 x Brach and also 4 - 10 (depending on species) of your favourite smaller carnivore like Dein or Diloph :) I am going to experiemnt with the other large herbivores soon, which ones can coexist with T Rex and the smaller carnivores. With carnivores you just can't put more than 1 species of carnivore the same size of they will all eat each other :)

Did you have 2 T-Rex in one pen?

I tried putting 2 in one huge pen and they immediately crossed the whole thing just to fight.

For large herbivores! Brachia, diploand so on all leave we'll with the carnivores.

Depends on the type. Giant Herbivores can be placed with both large and small carnivores with no problem. Armored herbivores can be placed with small carnivores, but not large carnivores. Medium and small herbivores can only be with giant and armored.
