How to build the dinosaur creation lab in the first tutorial.

Okay I get that it needs to be in the blue box. But no matter where I put the outline of the building I get told it's obstructed, and I need to move it. I can't buildoze anything and I'm stuck. Spent ten minutes trying to place this damn building and I can't do anything until I do. Can anyone help me?

Not sure if you figured it out, but this may help someone else. Was having this same issue, turns out it needs to be as far back in the fenced area as you can get it.

Make sure the terrain is smooth or the same height level, otherwise you cannot place a building.

i found i had to place SUPER close to the entrance train on side of enclosure, they give you minimal place ot place it in tourtorial

Yeah I posted this then thought to look at a video which showed me that more of it had to be inside then I thought.
