Considering the number of people (look through the discussions) who have reported similar issues, I find it strange that this hasn't been addressed (or acknowledged, which would be a start) officially either here or on the official support pages - and yes, I've looked at the FAQs and advice there and there is no mention of this having even been noted as a significant issue.
If I plug it back once the game is launched, the game and the controller works nice.... random...
follow this path in your folder, and double click the vc_redist.x64.exe in there, which should bring up a menu that will have either install, or repair, use that, this is the most common issue (installation issue with that program)
for me the issue of it not working is that i get a message with an error then it says something along the lines of ''server not reachable''
and it gives you the option to retry and then it says next which gives you some kind of code you need to copy and paste at some site it links you to, but for me it has the site blocked with the message error 403.
i've checked if it was my firewall or antivirus but neither are doing this.
i've also tried repairing the vc_redist but nothing...
frontier please address this as quickly as possible :(
