Direction keys keep sticking - any tips?

I'll try to scroll down with the WASD keys or rotate a building and itll just get stuck going in that direction until I hit escape. Some of the buttons aren't responding without a double click either. Is this my hardware or is the game bugging out on me?

My game is also doing this and I have a GTX1060, closing the game and re-opening it usually fixes it though :)

its because your shift-tabbing to the steam overlay, you have to exit reload game to regain full control again.. #useless

1080 over here. I get this issue constantly. I can normally fix it by mashing whatever key it was, whether it be wasd, space, q, e. Annoying as heck though since it happens at least every minute.

I use ctrl+1 for the steam overlay.
