Controls completely locked up

So it started with the controls not responding, sliding me along the map the edges or having to repeatedly click on things for it to register, now the controls are completely frozen. Game works, still runs, but I cant interact with anyting, hitting esc wont even bring up the menu

My controls have me going speeding across the map....
It acts like i'm holding down the movement keys, until I press them again...

Happens to me to guys, its cause of when i open steam overlay for me. I unbugged it by alt tabbing but that doesnt seem to work anymore atm, and i want to save my game...

Ah, steam overlay seems like it was part of it. I came out of it, started again and controls were fine, but I didn't open the overlay this time.

Yeah my camera does this as well does anyone know to fix it because its quite annoying

Watch out mate, for me that worked to and i was dumb enough to still use the overlay, now alt tabbing doesnt work anymore either to unbug it.

if your still locked and controls dont work, alt tab and go back in and spam escape, then click spam on every part u have to for saving your game, use every space u need to click on for spamming and u will eventually trigger. keep going till u saved and then u can restart game.

yea this is really frustrating, hopefully it gets fixed instead of having to ignore the overlay

Happened to me too after some hours of gameplay. It looks like it resets if ill go to the map and click anything else or just esc but it became more and more tedious.
I'll try with restart.
