And those review comparing a finished game (Planet Coaster) that has been released years ago with a brand new one always made me laugh so much. Better than a good comedy movie !
Rock paper shotgun isn't mixed they clearly state in closing of the review its not a good game, its boring, and only thing it has going for it is pretty dinos.
Guess it's up to interpretation, I was going by the score the game received. Okay then the positive reviews still outnumber the bad reviews heavily. I mean IGN, seriously? They gave Jurassic Park Operation Genesis a 5.9/10 when it launched, the very game everyone here seems to get an orgas.m about. Why would anyone even trust an IGN review, who give call of duty a 9/10 rating each year?
"It’s a greater disappointment because it falls so short of Planet Coaster. Frontier has already made the game that shows Evolution where it went wrong. It’s not that Evolution couldn’t have forged its own path, but it throws away lots of proven systems, often without substituting them for anything else. I don’t want to bad-mouth cool dinosaurs, but cool dinosaurs can only carry a game so far." -RPS
IGN, well, meh, I take their reviews with a salt mine of salt. RPS on the other hand has a ton of strategy heads writing reviews, they all love strategy games. So I take their reviews for any strategy/sim game with way more reverence then the bigger news sites

Ouch...
What a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brass neck to charge £50 for it.
You did the right thing cancelling. Definitely. If they iron out the problems this game might be worth purchasing, but I've already posted a list of the issues with it based on reviews, public information and live-streams and tonight, in one video review, the "proximity trigger" problem has been made clear and it's a beauty, and a game-breaker.
So there is no chance in Hell I am paying for this until some serious work is done on it, and I do not believe that some of the bigger issues will be fixed for months.
And the day one patch notes for the PS4 are already published. And they ain't great.
Multiple crashes and UI fixes.
Jurassic World Evolution 1.02 updated visual settings.
Added various stability improvements.
Fixed a number of other minor issues.
