originial size is prolly 10/15gb
Guys, don't make a fool out of yourselves. Of course it is compressed, but the game's size won't double.
By the way, you cannot derive the amount of playtime and complexity of a management sim by comparing it to a AAA story adventure with HD textures and numerous assets.
Tropico V was about 3 GB and had a lot of content. Meaning 3.9 GB pre-load size does say ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
I know that. Still kinda surprised me. Most games these days are considerably bigger. Even non AAA games with little story and medicore graphics like XCOM 2 are like 50 GB.
XCOM 2 graphics are comparable to JWE complexity. They only put in some extra work in the dinosaurs. But XCOM 2 has a lot of video, many different maps and a much bigger variety of objects. Of course it is much bigger.
JWE is basically just 5 Terrains with the same trees, same streets, same buildings, same dinosaurs... just copied multiple times and rearranged. Why would that need a lot of space?
8-12 gb like the store page guess to be how much is it? I thought it would be around 20-30 gb for a big island.
