So how many people here are ACTUAL Jurassic Park fans?

How many people can say they have seen all 5 films multiple times, have played other Jurassic Park games (the mobile ones don't count.) or have read/have knowledge on the novels?

A lot of the people posting on here don't really seem to know a lot or really care about the franchise and appear to just be casual steam users who happened upon this game or heard about it from an outside source.

i love the original JP as a kid though ive only watched the movie around 2000ish (at the time JP3 released).

I was born just before JP3 released but I grew up with the Jurassic franchise and watched the movies from a very young age. I believe I still have a VHS of the original Jurassic Park film.

I've been watching Jurassic Park since I was a kid, but it kinda left me for a while but Jurassic world, Jurassic world fallen kingdom, and jurassic world evolution has been brining back my inner jurassic park fandom and I was born 2002 so a year after Jurassic park 3 was made

read both books and for games first is JPOG, Trespaser, Jurassic Park The Game by TellTale, and a few others.

I seen the originals at least 3 times. Not like a huge JP fan, but liked the movies as a kid. I'm almost 34, so I know all about JP. Never played the games but I ordered this one. The original trailer got me hooked, looks like it's going to be a blast.

i played JPOG for months in childhood and i love to have a lot of dam options to do now

With exception of the latest movie, for which i have a 4dx reservation, i have seen them 10+ Times and Read the first book multiple Times. It is pure nostalgy to me

I don't even know how many times I watched the original 3. A lot though :P Especially 1 and 3, (don't like 2 as much - no alan grant in that one ;) :P ) they're just some of those movies that I will watch atleast 1x or few times a year.
Watched JW a few times, still gotta buy that one (kinda hoping they release a new dvd box with every movie) and have not seen the last one yet.

I loved The original JP, i found JP2 stupid but ok. I hate JP3. I played JP a lot on GameGear.

I really liked JW, cant wait for JW2 and preordered this game.

Look people, if you like Jurassic World/Park, you're a fan regardless. Of course it's probably easier to be versed in the lore, but you don't HAVE to, to be an "actual" fan.

If you like something and have an interest in it, you are an actual fan.

Dude Jurassic park was my childhood so it's safe to say I'm a solid fan but I dont worship it.

When I was a kid, I could quote the original film line for line, start to finish. I was SCARY hardcore. I loved The Lost World as well, less so JP3.

I'm not as hardcore a fan these days, but looking at my overall life, I'm absolutely an "actual" Jurassic Park fan.

Agreed. I assume OP is trying to call out people who've never seen ANY of the films and are just wandering onto the Steam discussion going "this game suk lolol", but that's just me being optimistic.
